All-Stars changing leagues

A friend of mine posed the following interesting question. Let's say a player is selected as an All-Star. Before the All-Star game begins, he gets traded to a team in the other league. Does he still play in the All-Star game? Which team does he play on? What uniform does he wear? Since the winning league of the All-Star game gets home-field advantage in the World Series, this could become an important question. Furthermore, it certainly seems like a possible scenario- witness the trade of Sabathia, a former All-Star. I thought it was an interesting question, so I thought I'd pose it to this group.

There's an incredibly snarky article on sfgate.com about Kruk & Kuip. I registered with the site simply to respond to the article- I'd hate for Kruk & Kuip to read the article and think that the rest of Giants fans share the opinion of the author. The article is here.

I realize there are people out there that don't like the Giants announcers, but from my personal experience, they would be in the minority.
