Vince Carter to The Clips?

Supposedly they said something on sporting news radio about this but i caught the tail end...anyone else hear anything, i would be curious...I love vince carter, think it would be awesome if we could get him some how. I also talked to my ticket rep and he said they are in talks with everyone about one or 2 of their bigs, sounds like we have been quiet because we are working on a bunch of different things. I hope the clips finally make some big time moves, like portland did!

clippers, rockets trade?

someone posted on the houston rockets board that they heard about a rockets, clippers trade going down. Cant find details but someone said yao for kaman and thomas, that doesnt make sense, i dont how much validity there is to any of this, but i hope we are working on something, we need a new coach and some players with heart, i love camby, we should trade kaman for someone, and start playing Jordan, he has great energy and can help

Fire Dunleavy...or else

So, i guess the blame falls squarely on us die hard fans who actually bought into the fact that Dunleavy might change his coaching style and let this team. Instead, u have an unhappy Baron Davis, who has made it clear in the paper that he is not happy, and it seems like the rest of the team is just going through the motions. As a season ticket holder for 19 years, i can say for the first time, we r underachieving to the point of disaster. There is no reason for this team to be 1-7, its just not acceptable. I wonder if Sterling will ever develop the guts to stand up and get rid of Dunleavy as the coach, it is clearly not working. I am so frustrated right now, i dont know what to do or think. We have and still do have a good chance to salvage this month, but with displays like yesterday's game, it leaves me wondering when this madness will end. Appointing Dunleavy to GM was probably the worst thing sterling could do, cuz he is now pretty much running the whole team, unless he pulls a pat riley and steps down, i dont see us competing...I want to believe in this team, but have no faith in Dunleavy. The image of ewing guarding Bell still to this day haunts my dreams..

Camby is Probable!!

Good news, i am excited to see him play tonight, hopefully tonight is the day we turn things around.!!! I am a long time season ticket holder and hope people show up because there was nobody there for the Denver game... Camby will help us a lot defensively!! I hope all you clipper fans out there come out and support the team if you can, they need it, i know they havent played well yet, but i still have faith that they will gel and go on a big run!!!

Injury Update

Baron Davis and Tim Thomas practiced today and subjected themselves to ``limited contact,'' which was an upgrade from yesterday's ``no contact.''

Marcus Camby didn't practice again, but is ``feeling better.''

No determination on any of their status' for Wednesday's season opener will be made until at least Tuesday afternoon, but more likely Wednesday morning.

Yeah Yeah, i know, he is a cancer,blah blah. I think guys mature after a certain age and the dude is still mad talented. Now that J Williams has retired out of the blue, i say we go after Marbury. Supposedly he is in the best shape of his life and the dude will be looking for revenge. I wouldnt mind having him and BD in the backcourt, or marbury off the bench!! go for it clips!! what do you guys think?

I know everybody keeps talking about trying to get him. If we could some how trade mobley and maybe two first rounders, ours and minny's, which i highly doubt New Jersey would do, then i say we go for it...Having him at the 2, with thornton at the 3, would make this team an instant title contender!!! I say we go for it all right now!! I mean, come on, lets steal some thunder away from the Lakers. I kind of have this feeling dunleavy isnt done yet, but we shall wait and see
