Just came across this video on the NFL.com main site, its a compilation of the NFC East Pro Bowlers and none of the Giants are in it.

Its worth noting that only the glamor positions are highlighted here, no OLineman picked from the NFC East made it into the video although somehow David Akers made it in?  weird.  Anyway, it would've been nice for the video to at least include the Giants' only Pro Bowl pick among the highlights.

According to cnnsi.com link here, Jim Haslett will become the Skins DC under Mike Shannahan.  I know he was a potential hire listed on this site, though one I wasn't excited about and glad he's off the table.

The more intriguing part of this story though, if it turns out to be true is that it opens up Mike Zimmer who was connected to that Skins job previously.  The Bengals will make a major play to retain him there, and his asking price might be too high for the Giants but he's very much on the market still.

is eli pro bowl worthy this season?  analysts don't seem to think so.  after watching an interesting segment on nfl.com discussing a panel's pro bowl choices and Eli wasn't mentioned by anyone.

according to mike martz, the NFC's pro bowl QBs should be brees, favre, and warner.

martz argues that favre with 3,565 yards, 27 TDs and &  7 INTs and warner with 3,722 yards, 26 TDs and 14 INTs both deserve the nod over Eli's 3,880 yards, 27 TDs and 13 INTs.

so why should the old men go over Eli or even aaron rodgers this season with worse numbers?
