Lew Wolfe was on the Angels' broadcast of the A's / Angels game tonight, where he stated that the team would be known as, "The 'blank' at Fremont" stating that there were still some issues to work out before the exact name would be known.

Let's assume that they will keep the name A's/Athletics.

That leaves open the possibility of "the blank realistically being being either "Oakland", "Bay Area", or "San Jose".

Personally, I think it sucks.

I call the Angels, "Los Anaheimgeles" because of their name. Now we are going to do it too? What's next, "Dallas Rangers at Arlington"? "Bronx Yankees"?
