2:56pm: Heyman tweets that a three-way deal has been agreed to with Halladay going to the Phillies and Lee to the Mariners. The Phillies are now trying to sign Halladay to an extensin.

Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers was so drunk when he returned home from a night of carousing at 6 am Saturday - while his team was in the process of choking away the AL Central - that his wife was forced to call 911. The audio is very depressing. Listen to it all - you can hear Miguel Cabrera getting belligerent with the cops in the background.
911 Operator: Has he hit you?
Cabrera’s wife: Yeah.

Minors 4/16
Moving on to tonight, Neftali Feliz and Kasey Kiker are both scheduled to pitch, and I'll be in Frisco to check out their opener. Blake Beavan's turn is up for Bakersfield, but their website shows the starter as TBD. For Hickory, Jake Brigham will try to provide an encore for his nice return to the mound over the weekend.
Shroom's calendar also has Brigham, C-Wun, Kiker and Feliz starting.
I am excited.

OKC: RHP Neftali Feliz vs Adam Ottavino - Memphis/STL (7:05)
Frisco: LHP Kasey Kiker vs Justin Fiske - Springfield/STL (7:10)
Bakersfield: RHP Michael Main vs Kenneth Durst - Modesto/COL (7:30)
AND: LHP Tim Murphy vs Connor Graham - Modesto/COL (2nd game)
Hickory: RHP Jake Brigham vs TBA - Bowling Green/TB (6:00)Rained out according to Shroom's calander
Feliz going for OKC -- Will be fun to see him pitch (or at least listen to him pitch).
Double header for Bakersfield, Murphy and Main going for them.
Kiker is starting for Frisco, this is an important year for him. Hopefully, he can get it started on the right foot.
I will update the post with links as soon as the box scores are posted.
Brett "Mr. Big Shot" Perryman had this on the DMN blog...
Big night tonight as Feliz, Main and Martin Perez all make their debuts. Feliz will be opposed by a former first rounder (2006) in Ottavino. Kiker looks to slow Brett Wallace and a Springfield offense that mauled Roughrider pitching for 16 runs and 17 hits last night.
Weather permitting, Bakersfield will play two in Modesto, with Main now listed as the game one starter. Brigham, a 6th round pick in 2006, makes his return after losing a season to elbow surgery. His last game action came in the Northwest League in 2007, where he was ranked among the league's top 20 prospects by Baseball America. Before his injury Brigham had a nice fastball/curveball combo and a usable changeup. Perez is expected to pitch in relief, similar to Wilmer Font last night. Texas wants to ease the 18 year olds into the season with low April pitch totals.

Andruw Jones close to signing with Rangers
Released last month by the Los Angeles Dodgers, outfielder Andruw Jones appears headed for a minor-league contract with the Texas Rangers, according to baseball sources.
Jones, who will be 32 in April, is attempting to revive his career after a disastrous season in Los Angeles. He reportedly turned down an invitation from the Yankees to attend spring training as a non-roster player, but sees opportunity in Texas.
This article is not written by Heyman. This is written by Tim Brown who had more creditability than Jon "Boras puppet" Heyman.
I am skeptical of what Jones can do but if he can return to his old form, he could replace that production we got from Milton Bradley last year.
Good low risk move by JD.

Mayberry traded to Philadelphia
The Rangers traded John Mayberry Jr. to Philadelphia for outfielder Greg Golson. It's a swap of first-round picks. Mayberry was drafted in the first round in 2005 and Golson in 2004.
Golson spent last season in Double A and made his major league debut as a September call-up.
don't know anything about Golson. Anyone got a scouting report on him?

After looking at his stats, I am disappointed that we didn't get more for JMJ and maybe we should have given him one more year to develope, but this move really doesn't make much sense to me.

OKC game is already over. They won 4-2. Ryan Roberts had a HR and Arias went 2-5.
Holland is going to make his first start for Frisco in just a bit.
Phillips is going to be starting for Bakersfield.
C-Wun is taking the hill for Clinton. Said he is on a 75 pitch limit in the radio interview.
Nevarez is starting for Spokane. I have no idea who Nevarez is.
Shroom had De Los Santos for AZL but you never know.

McCarthy is starting for OKC. So far he has pitched 2.2 scoreless innings with 1 strikeout and 1 walk. Not too bad for McCarthy.
"They don't have a radar gun but appear to have better velo than his previous starts." --The OKC radio guy. Which is encouraging.
Frisco has an off day.
Swanson is going for Bakersfield later tonight.
Quintero is going for Clinton.
Tim Murphy is pitching for Spokane.
The Rheino is starting for AZL.
Tought I would put this up since the ML club is getting pwned.
EDIT: McCarthy is probably done
