MLB DVDs
Anyone have an opinion of these two Yankee dvd sets offered at the MLB site?
They have a set of the complete, unedited, 1977 World Series against the Dodgers. This set includes a bonus dvd of the ALCS clinching game verus the Royals.
They also offer the Yankee Fall Classic Package (1996-2001) which includes the following games, 1996 World Series Game 4, 1998 World Series Game 3, 1999 World Series Game 3, 2000 World Series Game 5, 2001 World Series Game 4 and two dvds of highlights.
I wonder why they don't offer more of these complete, unedited dvd sets of past World Series?
Past Prospects, past trades and the farm
As I age my memory fails.....
The recent ending to the non-waiver trading got me wondering about all those prospects the Yankees frittered away. Are there any prospects we are sorry we traded? Say, Eric Milton or Rickie Ledee? Seems to me we held on to the ones that mattered.
Also, since the beginning of the Yanks current string of playoff appearances what trades shouldn't have been made? Wells for Clemens?
Who did we give up for Cecil Fielder, David Cone, or David Justice?
And finally, is the farm system depleted bacause the Yankees traded away all their prospects or are they just not making the right picks?
