This is the game of the year for this team and not because it is december.

Dallas is now in the second part of the season, the part of the season where they must want to roll their eyes a the media because they are ramming "december" like a tent stake into every interview they do with each player.  We and the team knew this was coming, and the reaction I have had to this is more of an in difference I just feel at peace with the position the cowboys have put themselves in.  I am happy they have an 8-3 record, I could not have predicted what their record was going to be after thanksgiving but with at least a one game lead in the NFC East division.  Dallas is in a much better position at this point in the season this year as opposed to last year; health wise and on the record.  Now comes the 1st big test to this team.

RIP 2009 Texans Playoff Hopes:

Texans do what they do and choked against the colts with after a dominant 1st half. Dallas may have been known as a 55 minute team but the texans take their ineptitude to a higher level; they are a 1/2 team they only have a good 1st half or 2nd half but never both in the same game.

I just had to post this, I am glad they lost and this should end their playoff hopes; they can hope to finish 8-8 but I am pulling for 7-9.

Suck on it Cowlishaw, dallas will have a better record than the Tex-anns!!!!

I say dallas needs to put 8 in the box and blitz to make sheli pass and feel the pressure.

I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Bill Belicheat

Thank you Bill

If it wasn't for your decision on 4&2 in last night's game; the result was a failed conversion and it has become sports talk radio gold.  I did not see dallas dominating the headlines on the national level, for once after a cowboys loss it was not front page news.  Even the local media is not making too much hoopla over the game, the standard ones are out there but I remember the loss to NY and Den being bigger news; I know we do not venture outside of our blog here too often but it was a nice suprise.

FYI Ellis Hobbs just went on the IR for the iggles, this explains why they signed a CB from somewhere else.

The site we love to hate sometimes because of their Ed Turder tendencies to stir the pot have turned their attention to the iggles; it has been a good week.

After watching the iggles vs skins monday night game I agree that the skins should have yakety sax (from the Benny Hill Show) playing when they are on offense and special teams. That 4th and goal fumbled snap was unreal; I had never seen a center/qb exchange done like that. It was like a direct snap under center is what came out when the Qb was in shotgun.

Oh the sweet irony of the two games dallas and the gints had.

Well, I am on vacation right now and am now just getting to a computer to visit the BTB site and see what has been posted.  I barely caught any of the game, and little bit more of the gints game tonight.  I do have one very noticible similarity between the ny vs. dal game and the cards vs. ny game.  Both home teams lost a close game but gave up over 3 turnovers by their qbs.  Eli looked like the old sheli, when pressed and against a banged up secondary in the 2nd half he had no one to turn to and could not make it happen.  The irony is too sweet not to mention how dallas and the gints are both suseptable to imploding a home game; good coaching or soft coaching be darned.

By no means am I under the impression that dallas is out of the woods, but I believe that they can keep things in perspective as a team and just go each week one game at a time, one game with a one play at a time they will win quite a few close games and maybe even win like they did today.
