Blogging The Boys Kitna To Cowboys?

Adam Schefter is reporting that Jon Kitna has been traded to the cowboys..... http://blogs.nfl.com/category/adam-schefter/?icampaign=DW_free_agency_friday

What are y'alls thoughts?  I am unsure I like this move. Kitna has had a bad attitude in just about every story I have ever heard about him. I wanted more of a winner to be Tony's backup, but then again I am not making the calls.  I hope we did not trade very much for him... Rumor has it that he would have been released.

Blogging The Boys Finally Sounding off

Dear Dallas Cowboys,

I have been biting my tongue now since last Dec.  I have been silently waiting for someone, anyone, to step up and be a leader on this team.  We have a head coach who cannot lead, we have a bunch of very talented players that are either "nice guys"( demarcus ware, jason witten, etc)  don't want the responsibility (romo, TO, etc), or are just all talk an no leading (brady james).

This team needs to come together NOW!  But, I fear that it can't.  The precedence has been established under Mr. Phillips (who I admit, I have defended till I was blue in the face) to make excuses for, well, everything.  Eventually, an enviornment where excuses allow you to skirt taking responsibilities for utterly abysmal play on the field leads right to what we have seen, repetively, an emotionless lack luster performance full of mental errors and no willingness to fight. This all can be afixed to the unwillingness of the players, coaches etc to take responsibility and fix problems and breakdowns that have continued to happend.  I.E. THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY between players because the players seem to respond TO NO ONE.  The coaches seem to have given too much authority away to the point that you could care less about playing hard for them.

I have heard it said that you are how you practice.  Well, all reports say that this team does not hit, does not tackle, and "takes mental reps" in their practice. I.E. YOU practice with no emotion and with no drive to hit, tackle, or aggressiveness.  So when a team gets physical with you, you back down because you have no idea how to respond.  Gone is the remnant of the toughness that Bill instilled in this team, and with it is gone any killer instinct our O-line (or anyone on the team) showed at the beginning of last year.

This team is in a word a disappointment.  I was so excited for this year after looking at the changes we made last offseason. I cannot believe how you have waisted your God GIven talent.  I am still bleeding blue and supporting you, and always will, but for the LOVE of football, PLEASE PLAY like you give a crap about winning or losing, PLEASE stop making excuses and whining it makes you sound more pathetic than even your play has been, PLEASE start showing some emotions good or bad, and please go out there and MAKE ANOTHER TEAM PAY FOR THINKING THEY CAN TAKE ON THE COWBOYS.

I suggest you all take off your helmets and focus on the blue star on the side of it, and really reflect on what it means to play for this organization.  Because right now, I ,as a fan, am ashamed to call you my boys.  Thanks for your time.

SIncerely,

Horsecollar

So, I was doing some Research on what Roy was doing this offseason to get ready for such a big year, and I stumbled upon this picture. While I know it is making fun of a Cowboy, I could not help but post this. It made me laugh. I apologize if it offends. The Title of the Picture was "How Roy Williams Trains in the Offseason"
