Saber League
If you are interested in joining a league that is more based on new age statistics methods rather than old school traditional statistics, take a look at this H2H Yahoo! league.
The league is capped at 20 members, and is H2H Points Only. Here is a link to the settings page:

If you are interested in joining, simply go to Join Custom League in the Y! Fantasy baseball area, and the League ID is 198346 and the password is simply "a".
At the very least, this league will be a fun experiment, but it could turn out to be really, really great, hope to see you in the league!
How Did I Do?
10 Team ESPN Auction League. My first time doing an auction and I think I did pretty well.
New Baseball Simulation Dynasty League: Need Dedicated Owners!
Hey Guys,
This league is based off of the DMB format. I took part in 1 league last year that has fallen apart, and this year I am hoping to start my own league with a group of 29 other people.
If you are not familiar with DMB, that's perfectly fine! In my mind, it is exponentially more fun than regular fantasy baseball, so feel free to join.
I'd like to see if there are enough people with interest to help me set up a 30 team (MLB mirror) centralized league.
Now for this to work, there will need to be 30 people, for the 30 teams, and some of the managers will have to take on roles on the League Government. My idea for this league is pretty much ideological based solely off of what I think a "perfect" (more like really cool) league would be like. This league would have a 25-man roster, and then a 35 or so minor league/reserve roster. Every Summer, a 5-or so round amateur draft will be help. In the offseason, things I've been thinking about that would be cool could be free agency (so players in the league will have contracts, veteran and pre-arbitration) and maybe a Rule V draft.
These roles would include the following:
Commissioner - Somebody who would be willing to simulate the games, since it's a centralized league. This person would also be in charge of all things lineup-card related.
Money Man - Somebody who will be able to figure out contractual ideas for players, being able to figure out rookie salaries and how the salaries will rise throughout a player's pre-arbitration years. This person will also have to figure out a way to manage who can win in free agency (money vs. years). The final thing that this person will have to do is figuring out salary caps for every team, my idea would be to have it start out with a set salary cap, but then alter based off of team performance every year.
Tech Guy (maybe 2) - Somebody to setup a league website, and somebody to create an excel spreadsheet with league info (rosters/contracts/manager info/etc.)
Roster Person - Somebody to log trades, signings, waived payers etc. This person will also help with logging players drafted into the spreadsheet.
There are probably other League Government positions that would need to be filled, but my lack of DMB knowledge makes it tough to figure out what/who else would be needed. All of the League Government officers would help create a League Constitution, league name, and the rest of the formalities.
Other information about the league: When initially claiming a team, you are just claiming the team name, and division. All players will first be put into a large draft, (maybe 50 rounds?) and the contracts will have to be figured out then.
I'm sure that a lot of the things that I have written in the post probably do not make sense, so if this is not the time or place for asking for members, that is fine. Admins, feel free to delete this post if it is not. I'll probably delete the post if the league generates minimal interest.
As a manager, I cannot say that I am in any way knowledgeable in the ways of a DMB League, I've participated in 1 year of a league, that was run a little poorly, but I took a lot of the ideas on this post from that league. However, I will promise to be extremely active in the league, and to help in any way, shape, or form possible.
If you are interested in claiming a team, or League Government position, or more information. either reply to this post, or e-mail me at threepointpi AT gmail DOT com.
Thank you and I truly recommend joining!
