I know we need immediate help at the major league level with our infield, but what does this mean for our youngsters? We have Weeks(I know he's not ready yet), Cardenas?, Patterson, and Pennington. BoCro is 29 and they give him chance after chance to suck.</p> <p>My main question is What is wrong with PETIT? How does AKen help us? I feel like Petit has done well at triple A and is only 24 years old. He's hitting a professional low .250 this year, but that's a small sample size (and still better than Crosby). He has played adequate defense, and can fill the stop gap role until Ellis/Nomar/Chavez return. I don't think of Petit as an answer to our problem, but is Crosby better? I guess it's is just because they signed BCro to a terrible contract. But back to my point, what is adding a declining veteran to our 40 man roster(I assume) going to help our team in the long run?</p> <p>Does Beane really think we still have a chance to win this year and is trying to help us make the playoffs this year? I don't think Kennedy is the answer. But why add him then? If he would have traded for a outfielder then maybe a Holliday trade is getting set up? I just wonder who the player to be named later is. There is a reason that St. Louis didn't want him, and the Rays have Iwamura and Aybar above him in their depth chart.</p> <p>Question section</p> <p>Why did the A's sign Adam Kennedy? When will he play his first game with the A's? Do you think he will be a short term filler, or with our injury history will play the majority of the season? Is this a good or bad move? The link sends you to Heckler's Prospectus, which also has a section on the angels. All of the ideas are just stupid and I'm glad AN has better front page writers. I didn't even want to link it, but its nice to see what I'm talking about.&nbsp; The same guy "Rev Halofan" has the top 7 posts. Is there anybody else that has a opinion. And it seems as though he is making fun of us having a name that includes "of" in the near future. Interesting...</p>
