The Falcoholic Free agent tight end market could be a steal.

I feel that the free agent market has some "unpolished gems" especially in the tight end market.

Tony Gonzalez is a first ballot hall of fame player without a doubt. With his glorious career winding down the Falcons must take steps to insure a decent transition when Tony decides to retire. I believe that Tony Scheffler could slip into this role nicely. Tony Scheffler is 6'5 and 255 pound athletic tight end with soft hands. The offense in Denver has basically phased him out since the arrival of Eddie Royal and the changing of their starting quarterback. Not to mention that Brandon Marshall gets thrown to 10-20 times in a game. Tony Scheffler has shown breakout potential in his short four year career. He is a decent run blocker and has the straight line speed to cause match up issues in the secondary. I feel that with Tony Gonzalez's guidance he could be a valuable weapon for our franchise for a long time.

Ps- Also Ben Watson and Owen Daniels would be great options as well but I feel that they will command more money than Scheffler.

The Falcoholic Pass Rush vs Cover Corner?????

I would like to see a better pass rush through the draft with our first pick (19) and a corner with our 3rd round pick. Some mock draft boards have Sergio Kindle dropping to us. Sergio Kindle had a MONSTER GAME against Alabama. He showed me that he can play in the BIG GAME and come up with the BIG PLAYS. I don't know when Myron Rolle is projected to be drafted but I would shoot for him. Myron is an all around athlete and he's got his head screwed on straight. His talent is very raw but his ability and his instincts make up for his lack of experience.
