The problem with putting Clay AND Egnew on the field at the same time is that neither are very good blockers. It's why they weren't put on the field together very often.

I agree. But you also look for trends. Miami hasn't averaged 24+ points per game since 1995. That is a trend.

I like looking at strength of schedule. I also look a little deeper at the opponents and try to see potential issues with those opponents.

If Miami has so much talent, then why has EVERY coach failed to win a playoff game or even go to the playoffs the last decade? Why are coaches "good" at other places, "bad" in Miami, then become "good" again when they leave?

The coaching staff is only as good as the players on the field. If the players aren't very good, the coaching staff won't be very good either.

Here is an interesting stat: In 1993 the NFL had approximately 90,000 passing yards. In 2013 the NFL had approximately 120,000 passing yards.

I don't know if any team would trade for Moore right now. If a team that thinks they may go to the playoffs AND has their starting QB gets hurt in preseason maybe.

I think Moore is a bargaining chip in Miami. For the right price, I think he can be had. For a 3rd or 4th round pick, I would trade him in a heartbeat.
