Of note, the articles poster boy for chewing tobacco was Tim Lincecum. I personally disagree and think it should still be allowed.

"The 34-year-old Tucker recently lost his starting job to rookie Todd Linden, one of several moves by the Giants that emphasize the need to build for the future."

4 and a half years later and the job is still being done the same exact way. I just thought this interesting. It doesn't really give me hope for the future.

Jack Z has done it again! What a great offseason for the Mariners. If only we had competent management in SF. Sigh...

McCovey Chronicles Bumgarner should hit for this team.

The Giants lineup could use some power, and there seems to be some within the Giants farm system.Today Madison Bumgarner went 2 for 3 with a home run and 4 RBi's. He now sports a .429 BA at Double A. Not bad for a 19 year old who also has a 1.59 ERA. The Giants should consider bringing him up to play some 1B and possibly make some spot starts. /sarcasm. But seriously, this lineup is pathetic. Congrats to Bumgarner on another solid day at Connecticut.
