MJD TV during Superbowl
MJD REPLACES OCHO: The Ochocinco News Network will be reporting from the Super Bowl even if its namesake, wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, is a participant when the Patriots play the New York Giants on Sunday.
With New England coach Bill Belichick not likely to spring Ochocinco for any broadcast duties, in his place will be Jacksonville Jaguars All-Pro running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who has a background in radio reporting for SiriusXM NFL Radio.
The wide receiver created OCNN three years ago and has built a social media network that serves an audience of about 1 million, the network says.
"MJD is the right guy to take on this task, and I have all the confidence in the world in him," said Ochocinco.
Jones-Drew won the NFL rushing title this season and will transform OCNN into MJD TV as he covers Super Bowl media day—will there be pointed questions for a certain No. 85 on the Patriots?
"Really looking forward to not just helping out Chad while he’s playing in the Super Bowl, but getting a chance to ask the questions most reporters don’t," said Jones-Drew. "It’s a really cool thing OCNN does out there each year, but this time around, fans will get a little taste of MJD TV."
Jones-Drew will be joined by Tampa Bay defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who will be working for OCNN for the second straight year, as well as national OCNN contest winner and Boston resident Cassidy Quinn Brettler.
Chuck Pagano new Geldings (Colts) coach
So.... discuss
Spicer and Blaney retained.. Marlon McRee hired as assistant.
Jags retain Spicer and Blaney... And add a former player as an assistant
Texans desperate much?
Wow. They signed Jeff Garcia as 3rd string QB and resigned our infamously short termed punter, Matt Turk.
Jared Gaither anyone?
Before you bash me, I did not background research on Gaither's prior injuries or ability to play OT. Compared to Guy Whimper, could he be a band-aid? And, no, I don't know if he plays left or right tackle... Just bringing something up besides our new owner and lack of a HC.
Gabbert and screens
Didn't feel like coming up with 75 words for a FanPost. So, read, enjoy, discuss.
Indy defense amongst the worst in HISTORY
Yeah, yeah. I know there are other articles on the Jaguars going against the winless Colts, but this still makes me happy to read. Is that so wrong? HA
Anyone know the status of Vince Manuwai? I know he's not on the team, so you can bypass that reply. Maybe he was hurt more than was let on? (go figure) I think it was a tendon yadda yadda yadda problem in the ankle.
And, just for poops and giggles, looks like Derrick Harvey is just as much a bust in Denver as he was here. Oh well.
2011 rookie qb's
Is this the year of rookie qb's or am I missing some obscure fact?
Will this make us feel better (for a second, at least)??
I hate being 1-4. Actually, there are way more things I like about my Jaguars than things I hate. It's close though. Anyhow, we're not in lonely company for teams with the same, or worse, records. Click HERE for the total breakdown.
Can you imagine how the Philadelphia Eagle's fans feel? They spent a small boatload of money for their "dream team" AND have Vick as the QB, but they still have tanked on the same record we have. I still don't feel great about our record, but misery loves company, right?
Hey! Peter King! Over here!
Gee, Mr. King... How does your dire season prediction feel now that the Jags have won their first game?

Jaguars ONLY team in preseason with NO sacks
As pointed out in this article HERE there may be a little cause for concern. No need to throw the " It's only preseason..." lines at me since I know that. Everyone does. Everyone also knows we didn't have Kampman, Alualu, and some other starters on the field all the time, but... c'mon... isn't it stuck in the back of your mind that we may digress a little more in racking up sacks before we start taking out QB's on a regular basis? I certainly hope we get much, much better pressure, but I'm not counting on it right away.
Kirk Morrison a Bill
I guess we get to see Kirk on the other side of the ball soon enough. Good luck to him.
Another lazy writer! Aaargh
Don't you just love lazy writers who slap something together because their sloppy editor wants something to fill the page between the opening of the new Krispy Kreme and the obituary section? Anyone want to reply to the writer of the article? Go right ahead.
Can you imagine Brett Favre a Colt?
Wow, I hope Irsay just got lost while driving thru Mississippi. And what's up with Irsay calling him Brad?
Sharks win championship on LAST play !!!
Congratulations to the Sharks!

Sims-Walker a St. Louis Ram
Good luck to MSW. Looks like the Rams aren't taking much of a chance with a one year deal. I guess we'll be seeing him soon enough in the preseaon.
Soldier's Angels
Hi folks.
Some of you know me well enough to realize that I am a volunteer type person. In that sense, I would like for you to travel over to Soldier's Angels website. This site will help you "adopt" an overseas service member. You're responsible to write at least one letter every week and send a care package at least once a month. The site offers premade packages for as little as $11, which includes shipping to your soldier. They also offer many, many other volunteer programs and donation options.
When I was in the Army, the most important part of my days, weeks, and years was receiving mail from home. Whether it be a short note or a box of food, it was great to take a break from the rigors of the military. Supporting our troops is very important to me and I've taken the plunge and have adopted an Army sergeant in Camp Marmal. Please take a moment to look at the site. Remember, just a letter once a week and a package once a month is all it costs. So, maybe you'd spend about a dollar a day each month.
After the jump, I've posted some information straight from their website. But, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me here and I'll do my best to reply.
And lastly, I know this has nothing to do with football, but I believe it's importance greatly outweighs the NFL.

Well, this should help shave off about a minute of your day. Hopefully, it won't be too painful and maybe a little funny. Enjoy
