Towards the end of tonight's game against the Lakers, the Rockets ALMOST pulled off the ever-challenging All White Squad, minus Marcus Camby to seal the game. Just thought it was real Hoosier of...
My father in law appears around 1:13 ranting about the Dallas Cowboys as we attended the tailgate party prior to heading into the big game last night. I know this isn't the Texans blog, but I think most of ya'll are probably Texans fans and love Houston sports (win or mostly lose). Also, it makes this blog more of a community as I get to share some fun personal moments and I'm not considered just some cool Rockets fan on the best blog on the web. If only I could convince this long-time L.A. Laker fan to turn into a Rockets fan...
Matt Bullard was in my hometown of Corpus Christi Texas last night to cover the TAMU-CC Islanders v. Texas Tech Red Raiders game. I have floor seats and he passed by, I couldn't believe it. I told him I'm a big fan of his and he's the best 3-point shooter I've ever seen and got a photo op I wanted to share with you all. I also asked if we're going to see Terrence Williams play this year, "Free T-Will!" I said. He said if T-Will gets his head on straight, he definitely could be effective. It was such an honor to meet Matt Bullard. I think he is very intelligent regarded basketball and extremely fair with his play-by-play and I'm so happy I had the chance to meet him.
NBA Fans UNITE. We all have heard both sides of the lockout, but who seems to be left out? You, me, and the rest of the hardworking fans who spend our hard-earned cash and time on NBA League Pass, game tickets, merchandise, memorabilia, deliberating and commiserating on Sports Blogs like this one, some of us spend time and money to travel to NBA cities to see games, and we also buy the products NBA players endorse. It seems to me that both sides forgot the FANS. We get it, the players want more money and the owners want more money and they both believe they are entitled either through their investment (owners) or talent (players). Well, the fans want to pay less money. We think both sides are wrong in the lockout and we want the NBA restored and back in the hands of those who actually make it possible: Us.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7538538.html I think that would be a pretty good option. In my younger days when I was a quick little PG/SG with a jump shot, I styled my play...
I don't think the focus is on Memphis. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they win the rest of their games on their schedule: LAC, SAC, NO, POR, and LAC again. So here's the situation and...
They freed T-will against the Nets. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.
Happy Birthday to Kevin Martin.... he better bring that birthday luck to L.A. tonight.
This is Makai Rock, my beautiful baby boy and one of the newest additions to Red Nation. I'm anxious to take him and my nephew (his cousin) who was born 5 weeks after my son to their first NBA game in Houston soon!
Rockets Forward Chuck Hayes Suffers Sprained Ankle Not that he was a big impact or anything, but he certainly has been effective. Hopefully he gets well soon because this just thins out our "big...
Life has been incredible the past 4 days. My baby boy, Makai Anthony Rock, was born December 17th, 2010 and he's beautiful and healthy like his mom. It also happens to be the day that brought a...
