This is really random and has nothing to do with the Warriors, but I thought it was really funny and just wanted to share. I saw this on the front page of NBA.com as part of their Basketball Without Borders program in South Africa. It's supposed to be a picture of Charlie Bell "up close and personal with some South African wildlife." But is it just me or is that thing dead? And he's still smiling? How bizarre.

Speedy Claxton Grew 1 Ft. in the Offseason

This is totally random and off topic, but I was looking at some player profiles and saw Speedy Claxton's. The former Warrior is now listed as 6 feet 11 on the NBA website http://www.nba.com/playerfile/speedy_claxton/index.html
LOL. He must have taken some type of growth hormone in the offseason. I wonder what kind because I want some too. But seriously, they should fix the typo.

Today, when Lithuania played Spain in a friendly match in Europe, our very own Sarunas Jaskievicius made an amazing buzzer beater 90 ft. away from the basket. I knew that he had some great cheerleading skills, but this was just crazy! Maybe this will help him regain some confidence and play better for us next year (if he stays).

I don't think this has been posted before, but if it has I apologize. It is a video of Baron Davis in a low-rider with some of his homies and rapping. He has some flow and is not bad compared with other NBA players like Ron Artest, Shaq, or Tony Parker. It also gives us fans more insight into his personal life. Well i couldn't get the embedded video to work so heres the link http://youtube.com/watch?v=HrDKY5RyOD4

Brevin Knight Waived!

Apparently, the Charlotte Bobcats have just waived their backup PG Brevin Knight. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/46802/20070629/bobcats_waive_brevin_knight/
Since we have more money after the Jason Richardson trade and since we have not solved our backup PG problem in the draft, we should consider signing Brevin Knight. He does have injury problems, but when he's healthy, he's pretty good. Not long ago, in 04-05 he averaged 9 assists a game! There's been some talk about signing Earl Boykins, but I think that Brevin Knight would be better. And to put the cherry on top, he's from Stanford.

Need Role Player i.e. Nazr Mohammed

When the Warriors made a disappointing exit after game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals, most fans, including myself, realized that the Warriors needed another big man out there. While many of you are suggesting big name players such as KG, let me remind you that big name players also come with big contracts. They also involve trading away some of our core players. Remember the great team chemistry that the Warriors have right now. I believe that we are just one or two pieces shy of being a contender. All of this said, we need good role players at this point. One of them could be Nazr Mohammed of the Pistons. He brings better post defense, shot blocking, rebounding, and championship experience. He's a good shooter for his size and also has good mobility for his size. Another plus is that he is basically rotting away on the piston's bench, so he could be had easily and for cheap. Maybe a simple Pietrus sign and trade would do the trick. If not Mohammed, then possibly Antonio McDyess, another great Pistons bench player. Let me know what you think.

All I can say is OWNED! LOL!

The Mavs are Cowards

There has been a lot of speculation about why the mavericks didn't play their starters against us in the second to last game of the regular season. I think that it was because they are cowards because they did not want to lose to the warriors again with their starters. Instead, they went with their scrubs who had no expectations and we blew them out like expected. If they had played with their starters and lost, then their morale would have been at an all time low heading into the playoffs and that would have given us an advantage over them. Don't forget that last year in the finals, the mavericks just lost it and lost to the heat. But now that we know they're cowards, we know that they don't stand a chance against the mighty warriors.

hey bradyk2, I was wondering if you made the mike and ike webpin yourself because this one guy on the pacers realgm board took that webpin and added "pacers future" on it. Not only did i think it was funny that mike dunleavy was their future, I remembered that someone on goldenstateofmind used the same webpin. Then, he took credit for it and everyone was congratulating him for being so clever. That sort of pissed me off how he took credit from a fellow goldenstateofmind member. Here's the link: http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?topic=636073 Just wondering... P.S. They also stole our "i like ike" slogan.
