Die By The Blade Small vs. Big

My appologies for my sometimes negative posts. I've been watching this team for a lot of years. This team is not built for an extended playoff run. I can understand most of Darcy's moves but, this team seams like it is in a constant state of flux. The Boston game taught me a lot. We have built on the Montreal model. Small, fast and skilled. This does not win you a cup. Ever since Anaheim won the cup a model has been set. BIG, fast, and skilled. Willing to take on anyone anywhere. We have a nice collection of pieces that are not going to win us a cup. We have overpaid on so many contracts. Too many guys that are not willing to pay the price. A lot of stuff happens off camera. That little crosscheck after the whistle. The smallest guy on your team willing to drop the gloves. This team lack the will. Why do you see so many shots from the circles. Fear of cutting to the middle. We might make the playoffs but we will get destroyed when we get there.

Die By The Blade Kennedy now a Panther

The Rangers acquired Brian McCabe for Tyler Kennedy. At least he gets a chance to play in the NHL now. I guess this adds a veteran presence to the Rangers "D". I am not a big McCabe fan. The price is right for the Rangers as Kennedy was never going to play for them anyway.  Florida gets another young player. Kennedy might do well there. Now he knows that you have to put forth your best every night to play in the NHL. I liked him as a Sabre for a while, then he disappeared as if he thought his roster spot was secure. Hope he found a new agent. If it weren't for his agent, he might still be wearing blue and gold.
