Fighters Abusing The System. MMA Rules Need To Change.

I think MMA needs to be taken back to the days of the Roman Empire personally, where there were no rules. No holds barred, kill, or be killed. As time went on everyone has gone soft and I'm not sure why, we should've got much tougher. I want it all back, soccer kicks, knees, face stomps. You name it, I want it back and in the UFC. It's time to go back to our roots, as Martial Artist, and bring the raw nature of this sport back.

I really want to see fighters FIGHT. No more glorified sparring sessions. I want to see fighters send a clear message to their opponents. I don't want to see fighters hugging at the start of the round. To hell with that. I want to see fighters beat their opponents senseless, so that they don't dare step to their thone again. They don't even entertain the thought of stepping in octagon with them again. Like when you're in a street fight, you go full on. You slap them so darn hard so that they don't dare try test you ever again.

It should be mandatory that fighters fight at their natural weight. You weigh in on the night of the fight. You weight 190? That's tough Shiz buddy, eat something and get to 205 or fight at 190. If you're a LHW, but you weigh 225 the night of the fight, too bad buddy, you're fighting at HW.

Soldiers put their lives on the line everyday for us in the name of war, fighters should put their lives on the line every time they step into the cage in the name of MMA. If you don't have what it takes to be a fighter, to lay it all out there, you should find another profession. It should be about doing it for the love of the sport, not the money. I'm sure we could sacrifice a few bodies here and there.

When I'm out at bars watching the UFC I call the fights. Granted, Rogans commentary is on low in the background. But it's me who calls the shots. The submission attempts, the transitions, the escapes, superman punches, you name it, I'm calling it.

I put the work in to make sure YOU get a 100% accurate account of what's going on in the fights. It's the least I could do to give back is call fights for people in attendance. Most of the time people don't even know what they're watching, with me calling, they know exactly what is going on. They go from nubs, to educated MMA fans in a matter of hours.

Joe was off his game last night. It was confusing for those around me. I had to let everyone know that Joe was wrong. I had to break down the technique so that they knew that the fights were far from being stopped. Particularly in the Glover fight.

So Rogan, please step your game up. I know you are reading this. Give me call if you don't feel up to it and I'll come do your job. Every time a fighter moved in to attempt a submission that was it, it was a wrap. Fight over, that's his trademark.

Merge the Forum With This Site?

Now wouldn't that make the most sense? It makes zero sense to me why there is a forum linked on this site. It detracts views and hits away from this site. It isn't mobile friendly and there's already a forum in place on this platform. Why not bring the community over here instead of letting well written articles go to waste. Win-win situation for everyone, quality articles don't go unoticed. More discussion etc. Hit me up on my email for more suggestions. Obviously my tips won't be free. This is just a freebie. I have extensive experience in this field, building websites etc.

The Snood.

So I've been doing my research trying to find out why this Arsenal side went down hill over night. From winning in the League, to beating Barca, Nasri, Song, Chamakak etc scoring goals for fun to not being able to shoot. That's how bad it got at one point, Nasris form went down hill over night kids.

It's not Wenger, it's not the that our defensive is weak, it is in fact the SNOOD. Yes I said it, Arsenal were at their best when most players played in the Snood.

I happen to have my own and I can tell you that this thing ups my skills and makes me play great.. In the winter when it's cold this badboy warms me it, it allows my neck to stay warm in the cold which gives me more speed than anyone not wearing one. It ups my strength as I feel warmer, snoods are great and Arsenal miss them.

As soon as snoods were banned that was it, Nasri stopped performing, Song was no longer the strong fast guy and Chamakaka lost his heading skills resulting in him being subbed. So sign here kids if you want these Snoods back, lets give this Arsenal side their beloved Snoods. They guarantee success for this Arsenal side.

Cesc couldn't hold or pass the ball up if his life depended on it. It's all well and good when those Hollywood passes work but when they don't what does he have to offer? Unlike Wilsher he can't hold the ball up, doesn't have the speed/skill to run past players or the eye for goal. I'm afraid he's one-dimensional so enough of the 'Cesc is our best player' because he isn't, lets get a few mill for him and buy some players.

That's another thing, Wenger doesn't seem to want to spend money. I'm sorry Wenger but if you're not going to spend then get the hell out of my Football Club, I don't want you and I won't have you destroy my club. That's my club, my players, my fans and my stadium - do your job and get some players in or leave.

Right now our best player is Persie and he happens to be the best striker in the world so I doubt he'll be staying around for long. ARSHAVIN? Are you kidding me? Maybe when he hits puberty he might start scoring some goals but right now he's not performing and doesn't seem interested.

And don't even get me going on Bendtner, come on kids. Have we had enough of him or what? He shouldn't be playing in the Premier League let alone Arsenal!

Cutting Weight.. Disgrace.

The whole point of weight classes is to make the fight as fair as possible, that's why Rua fights at 205. He wants to fight guys his weight come fight night, not heavyweights weighing 230. Back in the day you would see fighters fighting at their natural weight like true fighters, nowadays it seems you have to cheat and cut weight to be a champion, that's not a true champion, it's called being a cheater.

Now Rua walks around at 210/15, that's a simple cut to 205, nothing to drastic, Jones cuts from 240, do the math. He has the power, size, reach advantage over anyone at 205. Now that's not fair, I don't care how good you're are, you're not beating a guy with that kind of advantage. MMA is about skill, not who the hell can cut the most weight.

The athletic commission needs to step in ASAP and put a cap on how much weight a fighter is allowed to cut. Let's make these divisions fair once and for all, lets see how two fighters who weigh the same go at it. Oh, and don't tell me that Rua should just cut to 185, that doesn't solve the problem. Fighters shouldn't have to cut all this weight just because some other clown is(GSP, Jones.)

GSP is to blame, he started this trend. I've had enough now kids, the commission need to put this straight. That fight last night a disgrace to MMA. What do you kids think, had enough of putting up with this BS?

You Jon Jones fans are about as delusional as they come, even more delusional than the Fedor fans out there. You're all acting like Jones is 'the truth', the next 'big thing'.. I've even heard some of you kids label Jones as the future greatest mma fighter of all time LOL. The UFC throws a few tapes of Jones throwing Cans around and all of a sudden Jones is the next big thing? If that doesn't work Jones comes out talking about God, a few quotes from the Bible and you Christians are automatically following and worshipping Jones. How about you sit down and say a few prayers for Jones, help him get through this because even with God on his side he isn't getting through Shogun and the Devil.

The whole thing is a joke as Jones isn't anywhere near as technical as Rua in any aspect of MMA, even wrestling. I give the wrestling advantage to Rua, in a few hours you'll see why. I did warn everyone on this site to not bet on Jones and to not believe the hype but you didn't listen so you're going to learn your lesson the hard way, just as the Fedor fans did. You will soon experience first hand what it feels like to have your fighter destroyed right infront of you, just like all you Fedor fans. The only thing different is that this won't be a long beatdown, Rua will make quick work of Jones. This will pretty much be a massacre, ever watch the movie chain saw massacre? If not you're about to watch it in a few hours so get your popcorn ready.

Jones has no idea what he's getting himself in for in this fight, no one can help him. He signed the contract, I think he thinks that God can help him so that's why he's constantly referring to the Bible, trying to get God on his side, but not even God can handle Rua. Whatever God gives Jones will not work kids. In a few hours I expect all you Jones fans to be curled up on the floor(fallen off your chair) looking like rape victims. Crying about how it wasn't fair, how Rua probably cheated and that it was to soon for your guy Jones, oh and Rua got lucky, save your temper tantrums kids, I don't need them. When Rua DESTROYS Jones you will have yourself to blame, it won't be that Rua got lucky, it will be that Jones got outclassed and dismantled by a better fighter.

The images of Rua standing over a blooded Jones will be going over and over in your head for months, maybe even years. You might not even recover from this beat down your fighter is about to get, the images will haunt you in your sleep. On your way to work in the morning all depressed you'll have that image in the back of your mind while contemplating the thought of driving into the oncoming traffic. Fact is you Jones fans are going to be mentally scared for the rest of their life.

23 year old kid Jones attempts to compete with the man Rua will be laughable, really? Shogun will outclass Jones wherever the fight takes place, on the feet Jones gets knocked out and hospitalized and on the ground Jones gets his knee ligaments torn to shreds. Rua has ALL the weapons to beat the young Jones, there's only so much you can know at that age and it's not enough to compete with someone like Rua. So just face the facts, your fighter is about to get destroyed, come back to this thread after if you want. Silly me, you won't be able to, you'll be on the floor all curled up about to sharpen your razors.

Shogun vs Jones - Who You Got?

Well the fight of the year(so far) is coming up. Jones will step up and challenge the great legend Shogun Rua.

Jones biggest hurdle in this fight will be dealing with Shogun mentally. It was only 4 years ago Rua was number 1, he was regarded as the best at 205 and it was justifiable as Rua was destroying all comers in Pride, winner the toughest Tournament in MMA to date.

Rua has the best stand up at 205 bar none, so Jones is going to have his hands full in this one. I think Jones will have a hard time dealing with Shoguns timing. The fight will hit the floor at some point but Jones is going to have to stand with Rua, that's where he's getting beat up. Jones has holes in his stand up, he keeps his hands low and tries flashy moves (spinning elbow) and has gotten away with doing them. Shogun however is one the best at counter striking and pointing out his opponents flaws and exploiting them. Just like in the Machida fight, you come running in against Rua you'll get knocked out.

I'm not saying this is going to be an easy fight for Shogun, it's his toughest test to date. Jones is in great shape and has a very good camp behind him. Obviously Jackson will have a game plan for Jones and it will go something like this: Take the fight down. He will at some take Rua down with his superior wrestling and size advantage. Jones has been able to bust guys up on the ground, we've seen how skilled he is. He has very good guard passes and is very hard to control because of his size. He also has some nice subs to go with his brutal ground and pound so Rua will have to be on top for this. Jones game plan happens to play into Ruas game tho, trading subs with Rua isn't a good idea. Mater of fact, you might as well not fight Shogun because you can't beat him standing and he'll rip you up on the ground.

That's just my opinion, I think Jones is the future of the lhw division, maybe even heavyweight but it's not his time right now. I just feel where the fight goes, Rua will have the advantage. On the feet Shogun has the advantage, on the ground I also see Shogun getting the sub. Jones biggest hurdles will be dealing with Ruas timing, and how he reacts mentally when things aren't going his way. If he breaks, he's done, but if he can push through it, and knows he has what it takes, we could see a real war.

BTW- Shogun WILL be in shape, the title means is everything to him. Who you got?

So when did you kids start watching UFC? Which event, or did you get into MMA through TUF? Just wanna know when some of you kids started watching my sport.

Btw, I watched the very first event, check my sig. So dont try to be like me and say you've been watching since the beginning to. It's annoying when people try to be like me. You probably think I'm cool etc, because I've been watching from day 1 and you want to be like me because you think I'm cool, but dont. I'm asking you, be honest. I'm not expecting anyone to have watched UFC 1..

So just be honest and let me know. Let's see when you kids got into MMA. Some will be UFC 85, others will be UFC 100. Most of you will be TUF 1-8. Anyone who says anything less than UFC 60, im calling BS.. So anything less than 60 I'll ignore it and straight call BS.
