According to Alyson Footer on twitter, the Giants have acquired Jeff Keppinger from the Houston Astros for right-handed pitchers Henry Sosa and Jason Stoffel. I guess hitting Keppinger in the 3 spot for 2 games really helped a lot. I don't know much about these arms so feel free to comment and tell everyone how you feel about this deal. I thought the Astros would try to get that Tim guy that they have, I hear he's a pretty good pitcher.

I love this signing because Miller has been an effective player for a while now, and he can give us size off the bench. He could also step in if Yao misses some more time because of injury. He's a great rebounder and plays very hard. Welcome the the Rockets!
