A great statistical read on how our defense is doing. But the offense still needs some work.

Blog a Bull A Rebel NBA

Here's something that might pose some fun while we continue to hear dreadful news on this inconceivable lockout.

Take a look at the possible position of Derrick Rose

Bill Simmons (The Sports Guy) and J. Abrams give a description on how teams could potentially waive bad contracts if a new CBA is reached, and which player a team would most likely use this new option. The Bulls could use it on Boozer, but there is still time for him to live up to his contract.

It's obvious that Stern needs the majority of the owners (much more than half) to be for a new CBA. Why would he want to run a league in which only some of them are satisfied? According to truehoop, 17 are for a lock-out. Reinsdorf's lukewarm attitude is unacceptable for this organization. It is vital for him for take a strong stance not only for the CBA, but also for the potential for the Bulls to reach that championship level.

Over Garr. He didn't even draw the big 3 over, it was mostly Wade. While Forman put in a bunch of free agents, a new coach, and a whole new identity, it resulted in the best record in the league.

Check out Rose's jumpshot and how it has progressed since his rookie days. Pause at 1:02 for some fun.

I'm pretty we fellow bloggers never really consider looking at NBA.com, but I enjoy seeing good grades on my favorite team. Take a look and it will make your day..

Check out the Chicago section. With Thibs in, I feel he can bring back what was most important back in the glory days: defense. I am going for a leap of faith and picking Joakim for DPOY..What do you think?

Typical mild mannered and calm Derrick Rose. You have to appreciate his character, even though it may sound cliche with what he says. But we are still lucky to have this guy because of his mentality in trying to win a championship.

What a surprise. Another surprise is that Derrick Rose is not on this short list.

Blog a Bull Portland and Chicago Trade-off

Now that a lot of people have noticed how good the bulls really are, we start getting a little attention and things start going good for us, just like every April. Who knows, Chicago could host the 2016 olympics. It could be called Da'Gamez if people knew about it a little more.

Remember when everyone was getting so pissed off the year we drafted Tyrus? Well what do you expect? He was a freshman straight out of LSU. He had versatility, and a striving force that helped him out. And who did we switch our draft picks for? A guy named Lamarcus Aldridge. He is still a great player, but he also took some time in college to perfect his game a little bit more. This guy also reminds me of a big tall guy named Sam Bowie. Ever heard of him? Yup, another Portland guy.

But do you remember who we got for Sam Bowie?

Blog a Bull John Paxson and his decisions

A lot of fans here want to blame Paxson for why our team is doing bad. They sort of use him as a scapegoat for our failures. But I'm writing this post to remind you guys that it's not his fault at all.

Bulls prepare for the circus trip. Suprised to see Gordon noting that the team should follow Rose's demeanor to forget about the past record and just play the game.

Though Rose was second last week, he is now ranked the top rookie. I know some rookies will have their little hot streak and get to that number one spot. But then they'll eventually go back down to where they should be. I expect Rose to be in that consistent 1 or 2 spot. If he does maintain that rank, he will be a rookie of the year for sure. I also expect him to be Rookie of the Month this November.

With David Thorpe's applauding first game analysis of Derrick Rose, he has moved up immensely just short of the number 1 spot that he should claim by the end of the season. He was definitely an underdog coming into the season.

Derrick Rose not even in the top 5 is absurd to me. Fernandez and Love being ahead of him are even more weird. Any thoughts??
