Portland and Chicago Trade-off

Now that a lot of people have noticed how good the bulls really are, we start getting a little attention and things start going good for us, just like every April. Who knows, Chicago could host the 2016 olympics. It could be called Da'Gamez if people knew about it a little more.

Remember when everyone was getting so pissed off the year we drafted Tyrus? Well what do you expect? He was a freshman straight out of LSU. He had versatility, and a striving force that helped him out. And who did we switch our draft picks for? A guy named Lamarcus Aldridge. He is still a great player, but he also took some time in college to perfect his game a little bit more. This guy also reminds me of a big tall guy named Sam Bowie. Ever heard of him? Yup, another Portland guy.

But do you remember who we got for Sam Bowie?

John Paxson and his decisions

A lot of fans here want to blame Paxson for why our team is doing bad. They sort of use him as a scapegoat for our failures. But I'm writing this post to remind you guys that it's not his fault at all.

Alright, the bulls obviously need a big man that can provide a post presence and so that they could go to him whenever the guards or forwards were off. We as the bulls have had this problem for about 5 years or so. And so for the past 3 draft picks, besides Derrick Rose, Paxson has picked up big man who he thought could score down low, provide a post presence, and defend the paint.

It may have been sort of his fault for not seing truly inside of them. But all of the bulls faults are not his. The real problem is the people who he picked. Tyrus does not bring it to the game, neither does Joakim.

But guys, I REALLY hope that you will be patient. Everytime you go on here as fans, just remember that they are still young and that they are still growing. What do you expect out of a team with a rookie coach AND a rookie point guard.

Pax picked up rose last year because he thought that we needed more time. And so, I'm asking you guys to stop blaming. And just be PATIENT. This team will grow, I know that for sure. They just need time.

I appreciate all of you for spending your time on here because it helps me to know that I'm not the only fan right now that cares about the Bulls.

P.S. Thanks you guys, for everything, and most importantly for your thoughts.

Your fellow Bull fan...

Danny Park.

Though Rose was second last week, he is now ranked the top rookie. I know some rookies will have their little hot streak and get to that number one spot. But then they'll eventually go back down to where they should be. I expect Rose to be in that consistent 1 or 2 spot. If he does maintain that rank, he will be a rookie of the year for sure. I also expect him to be Rookie of the Month this November.

With David Thorpe's applauding first game analysis of Derrick Rose, he has moved up immensely just short of the number 1 spot that he should claim by the end of the season. He was definitely an underdog coming into the season.
