I didn't see this posted anywhere on here, but it's been getting emailed around all day. Hilarious listing involving Los Doyers and their celebratory supplies...

Do the Giants have a drinking problem?
I lied to Aaron Rowand. I shook his hand, looked him in the eye and lied. The date was February 8, 2008.
It was the day before Giants Fan Fest out at AT&T Park. That special time before Spring Training when fans can mingle with players, check out the yard, and get fired up before the season.
The night before, I was with a group of friends who decided to go to Bubble Lounge on Montgomery Street in San Francisco. As luck would have it, they don't allow people with Joe Thornton replica T-Shirts, ripped up Nike running shoes and camouflage Chevy hats into this place. I was stuck. All my friends were already inside.
So I said the hell with it, I'll just hit a bar by myself.
So I ambled up the street, looking for a bar. First one I saw was the Hilton on Kearny. I said, "What the hell? Maybe I'll find some hot business chick in here or something."
As I walked by the indoor fire pit, I noticed a large group of loud folks, having a great time. I swore I saw Matt Cain...
So I sat down at the bar and ordered an Anchor Steam. During my second one, my buddy Goose joined me, loose out of his gourd.
I said, "Dude, I think that's Matt Cain over there."
Then, all of the sudden, I saw an unmistakable figure...

Jon Miller: Best in the business
Most of us watch the Giants on TV and are delighted to share that experience with Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper, one of the best broadcasting tandems in baseball. I don't need to tell you how awesome they are. Their chemistry is second to none, they are hilarious, and we all enjoy listening to their homerism and baseball know-how.
However, when we're watching at home, we are missing the true genius of Jon Miller and Dave Flemming on the KNBR radio broadcasts.
Flemming, for being a young guy, is simply superb in his delivery and knowledge... he's getting better by the season because he's learning from the best in baseball: Jon Miller.
Miller's diction, knowledge, and unparalleled...

Is Everything Okay in Ninerland?
This makes a good point. Even if Linehan wasn't the answer, why aren't the best coaches lining up to take this gig, and why is this taking so damn long?

Are New Uniforms on the way?
What do you guys know about this rumor swirling around? I thought maybe I'd change the subject from their awful play and lack of hope.
I really want to get a Biedie jersey, but I don't want to do it if they're going to make it obsolete in 8 months.
Any truth to these rumors? Does it have to do with our elimination of our mascot, Thunder because Clay Bennett gave OKC the worst name in pro sports? Our main logo has Thunder on it, and if he's gone from the games, I figure he's gotta be gone from the logo... then at that point, I figure they'll change the jerseys.
Any legit news you know would be sweet.

A Golden Mess in Oakland
A Golden Mess in Oakland
Okay Nellie. That's it. I'm done with you-- we're done with you.
My beloved Golden State Warriors just lost by 35 points to a cohesive, professional San Antonio team-- their 9th loss in a row. I for one, am out for blood.
We didn't know exactly what to expect this season. We (and by we, I mean us real fans-- sometimes referred to as the "lunatic fringe"), dealt with the sting of missing the playoffs last season despite being the winningest team in history to do so. Okay. I can deal with that-- after all, we are kinda used to disappointment. Then we woke up to the news one morning that our Golden Boy, Baron Davis was leaving us for the smog and malaise of Clipperland.
That was a tough pill to swallow. There have been countless opinion articles I've read about the whole Baron thing. Folks like Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Merc and Ray Ratto of the Chronicle have given plenty of reasons why Baron probably needed to go anyway. I started buying into it, because I felt so damn betrayed. He enjoyed the best stint of his career with us, you know? We had....
