I am a sports fan and aspiring writer, a single Dad, and a bit of a data-fiend. I grew up the grandson of two football lovers (one a professional player, the other a college star and High School coach), so sports has become an integral part of my family.

I've come on hear to start writing and sharing in my fandom, hoping to give my girlfriend a break from my rants, and giving my writing skills the rough and ready polish of the blogland public.

And, yes, I really am an A's fan.
