With all the Halladay rumors and the Mets seemingly nowhere to be found I wanted to bring up a hypothetical situation for us to chew on. The Jays seem to be asking for major league ready prospects and a player or two already up in the bigs. I think if the Mets ever got involved it would take something like Pelfrey, Parnell, and two of our top 5 prospects. If that was on the table do you hang up the phone? Or what could be another package?

This is so aggravating to me. I strongly disagree with this article. They SHOULD be held responsible..injuries or no injuries, their decision making has been terrible, on and off the field!

On WFAN before Jon Heyman was saying what the Mets would have to give up in order to get Adam Dunn. He said an Ike Davis-type and Jon Niese would get Dunn here. So I figured I'd bring up the discussion. First, would two middle to upper tier prospects be enough? And second, if you were Omar and that deal was on the table would you make it?

David Wright vs John Franco?

I have read this story in a couple places so i figured i would post it. Media sure likes to try and make a big story out of nothing in my opinion.

But does anyone agree with Johnny Franco, is it time for David to step up and take charge of the clubhouse? I think the obvious answer would be yes. But I haven't seen it yet..

Our friend Lastings gets dealt in four-player deal

Washington sends Lastings Milledge and Joel Hanrahan to Pittsburgh for Nyjer Morgan and Sean Burnett.

I just thought this was funny because at one time Lastings Milledge was supposed to be the next star. One trade that actually worked in our favor.
