QUESTION for the die hards re: Larry Drew
I've been a Hawks fan forever, but this year has been incredibly busy with work and family, and since I live away from ATL I rarely get to take in a game. I watched the Portland game on ESPN the other night and then followed the Denver and Chicago games closely online.
My question for those of you who know: Is my impression correct that Larry Drew is much more effective at changing his strategy, both in-game and between games, than Woody? It seems to me that he understands that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach that will work for every lineup and against every team. The best evidence of that is his use of Johnson, Williams, and Horford in varying defensive matchups last night. Please let me know what you've seen from him this year. Thanks!
