[Lazarus] walked over and playfully called out, "Hey, you got ID?"
Without missing a beat, Aceves grabbed his crotch and shot back, "I got your ID right here."
Everyone roared with laughter ... except for the team suits.
Sandoval to move to catcher not 1B?
Imagine the possibilities, and let the rosterbation begin.
Opening Day Lineup
So the dust has settled and now the real action is about to begin. with all the rumors about trades the Giants are going to make and free agents they are going to sign. Everyone has a different view of what the opening day lineup is going to be. So my question to you is, what do hope the opening day lineup/starting rotation is?
And for you realists/pessimists what do you expect the lineup/rotation to be? LOL Velez!!!
Open Winter Meetings Thread
Thought it would be a good idea to make a post to try and condense all information pertaining to the Winter meetings. So any rumors or tweets worthy of posting can go right here along with any predictions or events people have for these meetings. Hopefully Giants come out of these meetings a better team but I for one am not getting my hopes up for anything spectacular to be done by the Giants. Ginats Brazz!!!1

Bengie Molina, Giants -- $6 million salary. Three of six predict that the Giants will offer him arbitration. "I think the Giants can be a little crazy on these things, like the Tigers are," said an executive, "but my gut is that the Giants will fear that he will accept, when they are clearly going with [Buster] Posey in the future." Said another executive: "They like [Molina]; he's their cleanup hitter, after all. The only reason they wouldn't do it would be if they absolutely thought Posey was ready to take over at the start of the season. And the value of the draft picks, if you get them, is so high that it's worth the risk to offer him arbitration." The Giants and Molina need each other, Ray Ratto writes today.
This may make your eyes bleed
you have been warned
For the Giants, one game meant two.
I think my favorite part is when he calls it Willie Mays Park.
The Denver Post is reporting that Major League Baseball will punish umpires and some Rockies players following a series of heated arguments during Monday's 14-inning game against the Giants.
Some Rockies claim that second-base umpire Bill Miller called catcher Yorvit Torrealba a derogatory name while the catcher was running the bases.
The Post said any ruling by MLB could affect Torrealba, shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and closer Huston Street, all of whom had verbal exchanges with the umps.
"The Self-Rediscovery of Barry Zito"
Interesting article talking about Zito's mini-resurgence.
Did anyone else see the trade the Mariners apparently nixed
I just can't see the Mariners seriously considering that deal.
Bleacher Report: Will Sanchez and Laroche go to the Giants?
Just wanted to know what people think.
Reason number 111 why Sanchez's no hitter brings me joy
So I'm not sure if anyone here is familar with the Fantasy Game, Baseball Challenge on ESPN.com, but I have been playing the weekly version of it. So going into last Friday, I had a slim lead and the team in second owned the Dodgers pitching staff who had Chad Billingsley pitching. I of course had the Giants what ment Jonathan Sanchez. I fully expected to lose my lead with only two days left but good once again triumphed over evil. I just wanted to thank Jonathan Sanchez as his no-hitter clinched me having the most points for the first half out of the 10,000 plus participants. Now I will be recieving $1,100 gift card to Best Buy from ESPN and I'm still in shock about it.
