I'm a drilling engineer working on the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. I gre up in Boulder, and went to Unihill Elementary, Base Line Jr High, and Fairview HS. The Broncos and the Buffs were the end all to all my sports team. My entire family are CU alumni, so my ties there go to the roots of my soul. Nothing else existed to me in the sporting world. I moved to California in the 70's, and have lived there ever since, but my bond with the Broncs and Buffs is as strong as it ever was. It is with extreme pleasure that I yank my native California friends chain every football season with the Bronco chain.
In the 1980's two days stand out at the fore front of my memory. The day my daughter was born, and the day Denver signed John Elway.
