When, in the judgment of the Referee, the level of crowd noise prevents the offense from hearing its signals, he can institute a series of procedures which can result in a loss of team time outs or a five-yard penalty against the defensive team.

Has this ever been enforced ? ... at places like KC or Seattle ?

Mile High Report Titans have been playing dirty before ...

The New York Giants fell victim to the aggressiveness of the Tennessee Titans. The Giants were called for five unnecessary roughness calls and one chop block. The Titans try to get you to play that game. They play on the edge and do a lot of pushing and shoving after the play is over but not enough to draw a flag. They want their opponents to retaliate. It gets you out of your game.

It is never smart to retaliate, as more often than not it is the second guy that gets caught. The Titans have a history of doing this — their team reflects the personality of their coach. Tennessee needs to be careful, though, as these things have a way of catching up to you.

Mile High Report Cowturd jumps on the bandwagon ... makes me wanna puke.

I kinda stopped listening to this guy, once he started sucking up to JC & bashing the Broncos. This did not change with the win over Dallas where we did the same old "Cowboys are over-rated" cliched routine.  And now he's suddenly changed his tune after the win over Pats - without so much as an admission or realization of a mistake.

Mile High Report Anyone worry about too much success too soon ?

Seeing how improved our defense looks this year through two games, even though it was only against Cincinnati & Cleveland, makes me worry about the long run. I don't want it to be a one-year complete turnaround so that Mike Nolan can get another HC job next season somewhere & we end up slipping back to mediocrity. I feel as though the 3-4 culture will take a couple of years to instill in the team and then maybe run on auto-pilot somewhat even if coordinators change. What are your thoughts on this ? Agree/Disagree ?

Thanks.
