Cincy Jungle And they call him SWAGGA!

Quoted by Gruden. I may have to get this on the back of a jersey like I put slim on the # 15 Jersey. I love our picks so far. You can tell that it is Lewis and the rest of the coaching staff making these picks the past couple years instead of MB. We addressed needs with Kirkpatrick, Zietler, and Sanu(this time with the real call), and Devon Still and Thompson were simply the bpa. This is going to make our defense super tough. I feel like we are extremely deep at dline and the secondary at this point should Hall come back healthy. I say these next picks lets get a another WR, RB, and maybe even a backup QB that we can have to compete with Gradkowski. At this point we are just adding depth and making for great competition at camp with these late picks. I 'M SO HYPED, WHO DEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Cincy Jungle MICHAEL BUSH & CEDRIC BENSON

Is it just me? I'm not too convinced that Michael Bush is all that much better than Cedric Benson. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have Bush because he has more upside but just not too sure I would pay him similar $ to the elite RBs in the league. If we are going to spend this type of $ I would rather us invest in Mario Williams, Laron Landry, or one the guards set set to hit the market like NIcks or Grubbs. Tell me what you guys think? WHO DEY!!!

Cincy Jungle BEST SOLUTION TO FREE AGENCY AND DRAFT

First of all we need to sign our quality free agents such as Nelson, Fanene, Rucker, Collins, and Lawson. Next, I think we need to crack the bank open for Laron Landry. He is flat out a specimen and would be that feared guy on defense that we need so badly. I know people are saying go after Nicks and Grubbs but from what I've read lately I think both are going to get resigned. The saints and ravens realize how valuable each are to their success. Therefore, I say we sign Evan Mathis. He will be a lot cheaper and has played in our system once before. Next we should sign Reggie Wayne #2 receiver. I feel that he could be a solid #2 next to Green and we wouldn't be throwing $ away like we did with Antonio Bryant. After these signings I feel like this would allow us to take the best players available in the draft. RD 1Kirkpatrick/DeCastro 1Glenn/Hightower RD2 Brandon Thompson RD3 Lamichael James RD4 Ryan Turbin/Brandon Pierce. The rest of the rounds we take the best available. Having these two back will be a tremendous upgrade from Benson. There you have it. FREE AGENCY: Landry, Mathis, and Wayne DRAFT:Kirkpatrick, Glenn, Thompson, James and Turbin. Tell me what you think. WHO DEY!

Cincy Jungle FREE AGENCY AND THE DRAFT

We all agree that there are some glaring needs on this team to win a Super Bowl. In my opinion those needs go in this order Gaurd, Cornerback/Safety, and Wide Receiver. I think we all agree on this. First off all, we have to address either the Gaurd or Defensive Back positions in free agency or both. I would suggest making a hard push to get either NIcks/Grubbs or Laron Landry. If we sign one of these players it allows us to take the best players available throughout the draft. I have a feeling that we won't be able to pay enough for Nicks so that leaves Landry. I say we pay him, he is a hard hitting safety that can run side line to side line and would be a perfect fit to smack those running backs in the AFC North. Next I say we look at getting a WR that we can get a good price on. I think Meachum or Garcon would be great fits. I say we sign Meachum he is a speedster who has a high ceiling and potential. I say we also we add a decent linebacker to add some depth. Now that leaves the draft. I say 1st round we take Decastro and Kirkpatrick/Jenkins, 2nd round we take the best RB available and in the 3rd another D tackle to add into the rotation of Atkins, Peko, and Sims who we should definitely resign. I think this is a recipe for success and we address all needs. Of course if a player like Richardson drops we take him but I don't feel he will be there. So there you have it.

FREE AGENCY: Laron Landry, Robert Meachum, and LB DRAFT:1st Decastro, Kirkpatrick/Jenkins 2nd best RB 3rd best DT.( In the following rounds I would add an additional WR and G to make some competition in camp) WHO DEY!!!

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

Cincy Jungle TO HELL WITH THE NFL AND ALL ITS RULES

I'm so pissed about that Gresham TD that was called back as incomplete.  I'm sick of the NFL and all its rules.  Catches that are called incomplete, and all the damn rules around the QB.  Gresham's catch was definitely a touchdown and it is Bullshit that it was called back. (sorry for the profanity but im pissed).   It just sucks that we get robbed of going to OT because of this.  We got guys on our team that fought hard to get back in the game only for the refs and the dumb NFL rules to steal the game from us.

Cincy Jungle SIGN NATE CLEMENTS

I think we should definitely go after Clements after letting Joesph go.  Him leaving leaves a big void to play the opposite side of Leon Hall.  I don't think that Pac Man, Morgan Trent, or Brandon Ghee is ready to start at corner.  So I hope MB can stop sitting on his thumb and open up his wallet.  Sign Clements to maybe a two year deal.  He is still  a solid player who has some juice left in the tank.  What do you guys think?

Cincy Jungle MIKE BROWN IS AN IDIOT

  1. I have realized that a lot of things you say on this website people just like to disagree with, but no this one. Mike Brown really is an idiot.  How could he really be trying to still get Carson back.  I said it once and I'll say it again, Carson will never be the QB he once was.  His presence in the pocket isn't there, his decision making is horrible, and most importantly his confidence is shot.  Two things every great QB has is confidence and a forget about the last play and lets focus on the next play type of attitude and Palmer just does not have it.  I do wish him well, but with whatever team goes to they need to put a load of talent around him to even have a chance at making the playoffs.  Ok guys, go ahead and criticize everything i just said.  WHO DEY anyway. LOL.

Cincy Jungle DHANI JONES SUCKS!!!

I titled my screen name as diehard fan because I truly am.  Ever since I watched the Bengals play in the 1988 Superbowl I have been a huge fan.  Not only do I cheer them on during the season but I always follow our organization's every move in the offseason.  Working at bars like Tropicana that used to be in Newport, KY and Waterfront in Covington I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of different players.  Everybody from Chad, T.J., Willie Anderson, Whitworth, Justin Smith, Peter Warrick to even meeting David Pollack the day he got drafted and was flown into Tropicana for dinner.  My point is that most players that I have met all atleast took some time to acknowledge me and be somewhat considerate when I explain to them that I am a huge Bengals fan.  All except Dhani "Dumb ass" Jones. He was the rudest piece shit I have ever met.  He is a straight up Asshole!  I ran into him at the bar called Righteous Room in Downtown Cincinnati and he acted like he was so busy texting on his phone that he couldn't look up and acknowledge that me and my girl were trying to congratulate him on his show and play from this past season.  I don't feel like the players owe me anything because I am a fan, but I do feel like they shouldn't be straight up Assholes when you meet them in public.  I'm sure they get there far share of just drunk idiots that can be a little overwhelming but he was just a punk.  Long story short...Lol.  Me and my girl left the bar yelling Rey Mauluga who is a pretty nice dude and is gonna take The Phony Tackles the Globe spot next year anyway.

Cincy Jungle RYAN MALLETT

I say we trade back and get two draft picks.  We probably wont be able to get the guy that i want which is nick fairley.  There fore we should trade back and get two picks, pick up a qb like mallett and still get another d-lineman like robert quinn or cameron heyward.  That way we address two big needs for the team.  Then in the 2nd and 3rd round we build an offensive lineman around this new qb.  Draft a guard in the 2nd round and a center in the 3rd round.  These draft picks will instantly make us better on both sides of the ball.  Hey, I like mallett he has thrown for 30 tds or more for the last two seasons against quality competition.  Tell me what you think.

Cincy Jungle THE RIGHT OFFSEASON MOCK

I think we should sign Benson, Leonard, and Fanene.  Benson is still young and has a lot of wear and tear left in his legs.  Plus he still hits the wholes pretty hard, we just have had trouble blocking for him this year.  Leonard has just been a good football player for us and always just does what is asked of him.  Fanene adds excellent depth at a position we need help at, I say keep him and release Geathers.  In free agency I feel we need to take a look at getting LeRon Mclain, he would be an excellent fullback in front of Benson.  Also, I say we take a look at getting Vincent Jackson, maybe even in a trade. I know Im gonna get a lot of flack for saying we should go after him because its another troubled receive but the fact is that he is a beast.  He is a proven receiver in this league and no WR that we get from the draft would be NFL ready, it normally takes a couple of years for them to develop.  This would be a solid move with Chad and T.O possibly being gone next season.  Most importantly if we can get a chance at Luck we have to take him,  Palmer is washed up.

Cincy Jungle WE FIND WAYS TO LOSE GAMES EVERY WEEK!

I can't say much about this season other than the fact that we find ways to lose games every week and that the only thing we got to look forward to is the 2011 draft.  How does Pat Sims jump offsides on a 4th and 2?  We fucking suck.  If its not that, its Benson fumbling, or T.O. not finishing routes, or Palmer just being Palmer.  The only thing good out of this season is that drastic changes will be made.  Hopefully Marvin Lewis and the Brat will be gone.  We obviously need help at QB and some help at the pass rush.  My answer is to draft and pickup a veteran QB in free agency.  This way we can have someone come in and compete with washed up Palmer to take his position and at the same time begin to groom a new QB.  Possibly pick up a Kyle Orton or Vince Young and then draft a Andrew Luck or Cam Newton, I would love for us to for once have a mobile QB.  For pass rush help we must get rid of Geathers, he is just a body out there at this point.  Maybe pick up a proven DE in free agency.  These are just some my suggestions to help the team in 2011 besides MIke Brown firing himself or getting a clue and hiring a GM. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THINK.

Cincy Jungle PACMAN AND WILSON

Good pickups!  We have added some great depth to the secondary, competition is always good.  If Pacman can get back to his form of early years are secondary is going to be scary good.  I heard he ran 4.3 recently so I think there is a good chance he could be back at his best.   More importantly, he know this is his last chance so I don't expect him to get into any more trouble.  Wilson also added some much needed depth at safety, I look this pick instead of drafting a safety that we have to mold for the next 2 or 3 yrs.  I think Wilson was on the Giants Championship team too, so he could be a good locker room presence for us to move forward in the playoffs this year.

Cincy Jungle KEN HAMLIN

This would be an excellent pick up for the Bengals.  He is a great hitter, and receivers do fear him when coming across the middle.  This would be a better choice than that C.C. Brown guy from the giants.  Hamlin would definitely push Roy Williams for the starting position and add some great depth in case Roy got hurt.  Also, by the way, I think we had a great draft.  The first three rounds couldn't have went any better.  Gresham will be great, Dunlap will push Geathers to play better, Shipley will push Caldwell for the slot spot, and Ghee will add some good depth and looks as if he will be a great blitzing corner.  The only move I wish we would have made is picking up the FB from Kentucky just in case "Fat Boy" Johnson comes in at 300LBS.   Oh yea, as far as the receivers again I think the depth will go as follows: 1. Ocho Cinco 2.Bryant 3.Shipley 4.Caldwell 5. This will be a battle between Matt Jones and Dezmon Briscoe.  WHO DEY! Tell me what yall think about what I said.

Cincy Jungle ANQUAN BOLDIN

There is a report that Arizona would give up Boldin for just a third round pick in return.  The Bengals need to be all over this deal.  The only exception is that Boldin will want a new contract, but who cares, he is worth it.  Boldin is as good as any receiver in the league when he is healthy, he was only overshadowed by Fitzgerald in Arizona.  We could take care of paying him by dropping Coles which would free up some money to pay Boldin.  This would be a tremendous move for us in an effort to make the playoff and beyond next year.  Hey guys, tell me what you think.  WHO DEY!

Cincy Jungle BRANDON MARSHALL

Their is not doubt in my mind that the Bengals should give up the 1st round pick and maybe 3rd for Brandon Marshall.  He is one of the best recievers in the leauge and would really help in opening up our passing game.  Marshall is only 26 and him and Ochocinco could really feed off of each other.  The other prospect the Bengals should look into this offseason is TE Ben Watson or Owen Daniels.  With these two players added I think it would really improve our team and Palmer would have now choice but to have a good season.  Please post some comments and tell me what you think.  WHO DEY!

Cincy Jungle RIP SLIM 15. YOU WILL BE MISSED

I was very sadden to her of Chris Henry's loss.  Like Chad said, he was a guy that had learned from his mistakes and turned his life around.  The most hurtful part in all of this though, is that he will be leaving three kids behind.  I went through a personal situation myself with losing a friend in a car accident.  So its kind of like dejavu for me.  When things like this happen you just have to try to remember the good memories that you have of that person.  Also, its important to remember that they are now in a better place.  I really hope the guys this week can use this as inspiration and play their hearts out for Chris. I feel like he would want them to use that passion on the field and come away with a W. WHO DEY!

Cincy Jungle THE BENGALS DRAFT PICKS

In past years we have had some terrible draft picks such as: -David Klingler -Akili Smith -Kijana Carter -Dan Wilkinson Need I say more? I feel that we have finally made some substantial draft picks this year. Everybody we picked in the first three rounds will play a lot this year. Keith Rivers will be a BEAST, Simpson has incredible talent and Caldwell is just as compleate footbal player as him. He has speed, toughness, and nice hands. The most important pick of this draft is DT Pat Sims. He is also another tough kid that played last season with a cast on his hand. I believe he could be the difference maker in the interior of the line that we have been looking for since Krumrie. Hopefully Zimmer and Lewis will take this talent and make us a playoff contender this year. WHODEY!
