I'm Dmitriy (aka YourSportsSource) and I have been obsessed with Boston sports ever since I watched Pedro Martinez have the single best season of any pitcher in the modern era in 1999. I remember Paul Pierce lifting the Celtics on his back in the greatest comeback in NBA playoffs history against the New Jersey Nets. I remember Drew Bledsoe limping off the field, giving way to Tom Brady and one of the greatest franchises in football history. I'd like to say I remember something about the Bruins too, but I think I learned to block those memories.

My love for sports is equaled only by my love for writing, and over the past 5-6 years I have done everything from running my own sports website and serving as head editor and writer, to writing guest posts for popular blogs, to now running my own blog. I try to analyze sports from beyond just the fan perspective, combining my personal observations with objective analysis and statistical evidence. I've yet to have anybody complain about my writing, so I must be doing something right.

I am still in college (Let's go Syracuse!) at the moment, but I hope to one day end up working in the sports industry. Theo Epstein already has my dream job, so I may have to settle for something a little less awesome. Regardless of where I eventually land, I aim to bring the same dedication and creativity to my career as I do to my love of sports.
