Mocked Out!
I have never participated in a Mock draft in my life. I figured that I would have about as much luck mocking the draft as I have trying to pick the sweet sixteen in order of finish for the NCAA Basketball Tourney each year. I have never come close to winning and have resolved myself to donating $10 to the eventual winner. Now don't get me wrong, when it comes to Mock drafts I don't mind reading them. It just seems to me that this year we have had a plethora of Mock. Some seem to be pretty good and others seem to be from another planet. Some are from the head and some are form the heart! Some elicit no response and some get folks fired up. How does anyone really know for sure what the front office will do? Especially after last years draft! I know that you can post as often as you like here but some folks put a mock up every other day. What is up with that?
My 12 demandments of mock drafting after the jump.

What Are We Going To See From Eddie Royal & The Rest of the Bronco's WR's in 2010 and Beyond?
There has been a lot of talk in Bronco land about Eddie Royal and what kind of "year" can be expected out of him this season. Personally I think the chances are pretty good that Mr. Royal is going to have an exceptional season this year and a big part of that is that he his going into his third year as a wide receiver in the NFL. I have found that the mostly third year and sometimes the fourth have been pivotal and or break-out seasons for NFL wide receivers. I will explain below.

FanShots - Mile High Report - For Denver Broncos Fans
Lindsey Jones reports Broncos announced they have been awarded G Stanley Daniels off waivers (from Green Bay).
Building the Broncos into a perennial contender.
Is Josh MCDaniels building the Broncos into a team that will be a legitimate contender year in and year out which is what we all want to see out of our favorite team? In other words does he have long or short tern vision when it comes to the Broncos?

Homer or no Homer
I have seen the word homer used to describe fans. Most of them describe "homers" as fans of a certain team who believe that their team and its management and ownership can do no wrong. Some think that 99% of the folks here on MHR are "homers" just because they are optimistic about the Broncos. I don' think that is a fair assessment of a Homer. If it is a fair comparison then how would you describe someone who continually bashes their team and it's management and ownership. I don't know about you but I call them D.P. Posters, as most of them are uber-pessimistic! I consider myself to be a homer but with a different point of view as to what a "homer" is. I will attempt to explain below.

Patience is a virtue, espescially with youngsters.
This is my first attempt at a real fan post. My first should have been a fan shot but what do I know? Fortunately for me noone hear busted my chops. That is why I love this site. Well, here goes.
It seems to me that in a society that wants everything right now fans fueled by the MSN are using the same sort of impatience when it comes to young professional athletes. In the case of three Bronco's rookies last year I will use these immortal words. The news of their demise has been greatly exaggerated. I will explain after the jump.

Bryant unlikely to be a top-11 pick
From Bill Williamson
March, 30, 2010 3:30 PM ET Dez Bryant did not improve his draft status for next month's NFL draft during his Pro Day workout Tuesday.
Bryant has been often connected to Denver. The Broncos have the No. 11 pick. If they trade Brandon Marshall, the Broncos will have a big need for a receiver. There has been some talk that Oakland could be interested in Bryant. The Raiders have the No. 8 pick, but they have bigger needs. Former Oakland receiving great Cliff Branch was reportedly at Bryant’s workout Tuesday.
But Bryant likely fell out of the top half of the first round Tuesday. He was good, but not great and he didn’t post over-the-top 40-yard dash times.
Add Bryant’s Tuesday workout to his off-field concerns and it is difficult to believe he will be taken in the top 11 picks. So, his chances of ending up in the AFC West may have dwindled.
