Denver Stiffs Knicks have first 8-game win streak in 16 years

Currently riding a three game win streak the New York Knicks seek a victory over the Toronto Raptors to attain four victories in a row since the tremendous acquisition of superstar Carmelo Anthony and fellow all star Chauncey Billups. Paired alongside Amare Stoudemire, we have all been treated to the formation of New York's big three. Oddly enough this tremendous roster switch has been out shinned by the very team that gave up its biggest stars mid way through the season.

Denver Stiffs The NBA Hates the Nuggets

I think the Nuggets are one of the top teams in the NBA, and yet they get the worst treatment from the league. Officials make terrible calls against the local team (remember the charge J.R. Smith took that got changed into a blocking foul VS the Knicks), I could probably cite hundreds of other incidents this season alone where calls went against this team.

Not only that but the schedule was practically designed to keep the Nuggets down in the win column. Whats up with the most back to back games of any team in the league including one against the Magic followed by the Mavericks. Im honestly surprised David Stern didnt throw in back to back games of Lakers followed by Cavaliers all on the road.

Yes injuries have hurt this team as well as unexpectedly losing coach GK for the season, but that could happen to any team. Consider that Portland went through a stretch of injured stars, and they still kept a consistent winning pace for a while. During that period of time the Blazers were practically the media darlings of the month. Every national broadcast announcer would bring it up and talk about the great young talent blah blah blah.  All I ever hear from these people when the Nuggets play a national game is... "Oh this team sucks, because..."

I am proud of what the Nuggets have accomplished this season and I hope they keep it up. Its not the teams fault that the league hates them.

Denver Stiffs NBA SEASON OVER

Well its over for the Nuggets, but it was an incredible season for our team. I know much has been made of the fact that none of the NBA experts, analysts or highly paid TV idiots even predicted that this team would even make the playoffs. I agree with Coach GK that we should celebrate how great this team played all year, overcame adversity, and ultimately brought the fans to their feet numerous times.

Great Accomplishments

-  Nuggets Defense held opponents to 44% shooting in the regular season, best D in 15 years.

- Chauncey made the Conference Finals for the 7th year in a row, while the pistons collapsed without him.

-Nene had his best year, second in FG%, and went 12-12 shooting in a game against the Jazz.

-J.R. Had an excellent year; Second place 6th man of the year. He also set  a franchise record 11 made 3-pointers in a game.

-Birdman was a beast, second place in blocks at an average of 2.46 in about 20 minutes per game.

- Kenyon went 10-10 from the field in shooting against the Bull (11/23) for a season high 26 points.

- Carmelo Anthony became the 3rd youngest player to reach 10,000 points against the Thunder(2/4)

There are so many more records this team achieved, so now that the season is over we can reflect on how good the Nuggets were this year. Yes, Yes the Lakers advance, thats so good for them. I shamefully admit that last year in the finals of Boston and LA, I was rooting for the Lakers.

To atone for that I will not watch the finals this year and I encourage any fans to do the same. Why? Because the NBA is trying to force the Lebron VS Kobe match up and its sickening, Boycott that Tyrant David Stern and his greed.  Did $50,000 buy the Lakers out of the WCF?
