Florida State is the leader for Christian Jones
Christian Jones is in a family full of Seminoles. His dad, Willie Jones, Sr., played for Florida State and later in the NFL, while his brother Willie Jones, Jr. also made the trek to Tallahassee for college. Even Christian Jones' cousin Kenny Ingram suited up in the garnet and gold.
So it's not too surprising that Florida State leads for the 6-foot-4, 220-pound linebacker's services. The Lake Howell (Winter Park, Fla.) native also told Sporting News that Florida, USC and Alabama are in the mix behind the Seminoles.
"I would probably say Florida State is the leader, yeah; they're still up there in the one or two range," Christian Jones told SN. "I'm just enjoying all of this right now. I plan to take all of my five visits. I'm going to try to lay it out through the year and see what happens. I could just go up to Tallahassee and Gainesville any time, so me and my dad might take the visits to out-of-state schools like USC, and Alabama and Notre Dame. I'm not sure about all of it yet."
Does not mean much, but it's good to know!
