There’s Texas Tech, long an entertaining afterthought in the Big XII that is now arguably the most complete team in the country.

I propose the System-wide Collegiate Offensive Re-emergence and Excitement (SCORE) Act of 2009:
Every offensively-challenged school will have a direct line to Texas Tech Head Football Coach Mike Leach, heretofore known as The Gaffer. Each team's head coach will use a government-provided iPhone to direct message The Gaffer through Twitter. 140 characters is more than enough to describe any situation, and The Gaffer will respond with a 3 character hash which can be decrypted into 1 run and 2 pass plays.

Fire Mike Leach
Absolutely disgusting. As a Texas Tech alumnus and Red Raider fan, I am appalled at what Mike Leach is doing with this program. 10 wins? And we still have 2 games left in the regular season. As any Aggie, Longhorn, or Sooner will tell you, we Red Raiders are content with 7 or 8 win seasons and mid-tier bowls. Ten wins is completely unacceptable. We need to show him the door right away or else this program is going to be highly successful on a regular basis.
We are supposed to be a great show on offense, pass-happy, defense-less, and only be an occasional spoiler of another team’s season. We now have 2 wins over top-10 teams. I can deal with one, but that is all. We have one of the top defenses in the country, first in the conference. What the hell is he doing? Trying to ruin our reputation? What does he not understand about “all offense, no defense?” To make it worse, his offense is averaging over 130 rushing yards a game. The Air Raid is not supposed to run the ball. As Mike Gundy put it so nicely last year, IT MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE.
I will be sending hate-mail to both Leach and Meyers this week about this horrible situation we have. Surely the fan-base and boosters agree with me, because this is nothing like the Texas Tech team all of us demand.

Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell picked up an unprecedented fourth AT&T All-America Player of the Week honor Thursday for his efforts in the Red Raiders' 39-33 win over then-No. 1 Texas last weekend.

Replay of TTU vs UT on ESPN Classic
There will be a replay of Saturday's game tonight 11/4/08 on ESPN Classic. What's better, boring election coverage, or re-living the best game of the year?

Superstitions?
I need a haircut! Yes, it's driving me nuts, it's uncomfortable, and my hat-wearing time has easily quadrupled, but I haven't cut my hair since August. It's my crazy superstition, and as long as we keep winning, I won't let a pair of scissors or clippers come near my head!
So, what's your crazy superstition that's kept Texas Tech undefeated so far? Beard? Lucky underwear? An odd gameday routine? Whatever it is, share with us and KEEP DOING IT!
Wreck 'em!

Has Texas Tech Avoided the "Bad Loss"?
This past summer, Seth delved into what Texas Tech fans have come to expect in one or two games each season: Bad losses. As Texas Tech enters a tough four-game stretch with a 7-0 record and a unanimous top ten ranking, I wondered if maybe, just maybe, Texas Tech has escaped the infamous "bad loss."
Read more after the jump.
