A big thanks to BE
For me this is the most wonderful time of year. Well, usually. For all 30 some odd years of my life I've lived in the Portland metro area and have been an avid fan of the Portland Trailblazers for as long as I can remember. Blazer basketball consumes a major part of my life and have been very lucky to attend some great games and witness the unbelievable. Over the Summer I had to move out to the east coast and will soon be sailing around the world on ships, as that's my new career and well, as they say, I got bills to pay. I just hope that wherever I may be in the world, I can catch a a few games, regardless of what time zone I may be in.
I'm glad that that I discovered Blazersedge a few years ago. This is truly one of the best, most in depth sports blogs. Hats off to Ben and Dave for putting in their time and making this site the greatest!!! I really missed fan fest this year and seeing the videos and reading the open threads made me feel like I was right there with ya'll. The fans as well make this site awesome, so I'd really like to go out of my way to thank everyone for contributing as I look forward to the season getting any little tidbit of info on the greatest sports franchise ever! Not too surprising, I ran into some Blazer fans in my training classes out here in Virginia, and I put them on to this site and they absolutely love it!
I just want to say to everyone, thank you and keep up the good work! Hopefully I'll be back in Portland to catch the playoffs and championship run!

Brandon Roy Returns - Blazers vs. Suns - 2010 Playoffs Game 4, you gotta love the crowds reaction!
In the longer view, the Blazers now can be called the series favorites. That's because Game 1 winners have gone one to win best-of-7 series 79 percent of the time since 1946-47.
Blazer Fans - I need help!!!!
I don't know how I did it, but I some how lucked out and scored tickets to game 4 against the Suns. I went out got a huge piece of blank poster paper for a sign to bring to the game. Problem is, I'm having trouble coming up with an idea. Only got a week to make it happen, Any Help??? Please??
I don't feel bad that Golden State won...
It was a great opportunity to see how much depth we are dealing with. Especially with current injury situations.
I'm not gonna give an assessment, but I will say these guys are ready to play, something to pay attention to during the playoffs will be bench productions. I will take note.

Whats sweeter then Beating the L*kers?
Beating them with about half our roster.
For some kicks and giggles I read the Open thread over at SS&R Fans had some interesting thoughts about the game as it unfolded. TImbo had a funny comment on "why Blazer Fans hate the Lakers so much"
The Homeboy John Hollinger Had some good tweets and insight as well. You can peep his thoughts in the Curse of the Willamette
Speaking of curses, Andew Bynum thinks there's one, and Phil Jackson has an interesting routine when the NBA schedule comes out over at NBA.COM
All great reads. Hats off the the Blazers and the Fans, for making Portland the hardest place to play in the NBA.

Blazers 2009-2010 Theme [ FULL VERSION ] - Remixed By Dj Puma
*****UPDATED FULL VERSION 7/22/09 ******
Samples taken from Original Trumpet Portland Trailblazer Theme. Drums and Samples Arranged By Levi "Dj Puma" May. Finnally, The Portland Trailblazers have a Hip-Hop version of their rally song players and fans will enjoy. For More info contact Dj Puma at (360) 606-3359
Thanks for the suggestions, they have been very helpful! I have it multi-tracked out so I can re-edit it and expand on it or break it down to the basic parts of the track, including the name drops. I just put those in there so people don’t steal it or bite my idea, and as a Blazer Fan it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for years, just could never find the original version of the Blazers theme song.
Keep on giving the Feedback, I’m went back to the lab and took your suggestions into consideration and made most of them work.
- I ditched the "D-D-D-D-D-J" Name Drops
- I was able to slow down the tempo a little bit, about 77 BPM and the video a lot. (Cool ‘77 has special meaning in this town)
- Worked In the Original Melody that everyone knows and Loves.
- Touched up and Mastered the Drums (It’s Helps to have a Subwoofer!!!)
- Added Moments of Silence for a Dramatic effect. (As you’ll see in the demo Video)
- Included a Breakdown of just the Beat with the main hits that adds a nice touch of continuation.
Just to let everyone know, I’m doing this for fun as a Blazers fan, and if it happens to catch on cool, if not, I still had fun re-working a classic song I’ve known all my life. It is a Hip-Hop beat, so it has to have a hard hitting, grimy, edgy sound to it. If you still don’t like it it’s cool, maybe you should take a shot and do your own version!
Take care Blazer Fans, see ya’ll around!
PS the final cut came out to be 7 min long, it’s an extended version to go along with last seasons highlights.
Special Treat*****
Here’s the link to the Somewhat Original Blazer Trumpet Theme song…
I Say somewhat cause it plays fast, and doesn’t seem to sound like the Full Version.
