Shamarko Thomas Quits Orange Football Team
Syracuse, NY -- Head coach Doug Marrone announced that sophomore safety Shamarko Thomas has left the team. As has been standard procedure since he took over, Marrone declined to comment on Thomas' reasons for leaving.
"I don't talk about players who are no longer with the program," was all Marrone had to say after practice on Wednesday.
Let's all just take a moment to absorb this. I'll talk with you guys in the afternoon.

Meet Jonny Flynn: A Syracuse Fan's Perspective
Hey T'Wolves fans. Just thought I'd send along this story I wrote about your new point guard Jonny Flynn. I'm a huge Syracuse fan, and I've seen every game of Flynn's college career. I think he'll really help your team, regardless of how the Rubio situation shakes out.
Admittedly I'm a bit of a homer, but I tried to be as objective as possible. Any comments or criticisms are appreciated.
Go T'Wolves!
