Doesn't make since......
I have been reading and listening to the experts all season. I just ran across a segment on NFL Network that was interesting. The question was posed that if the undefeated Saints and undefeated Colts met in Miami, who would win? Now i know that due to the past history of the Saints that they would automatically pick the Colts. But all of you know we have a defense this year that has been pretty remarkable. To make a long story short they were saying that the Colts defense was better.
Also, when they talk about the game against the Redskins, they always fail to mention the factors that were going against us. ( Short week, missing 4 starters on D, cold/sloppy weather conditions.) Now to me that seems like some pretty legitamate reasons that our team didn't play up to par. They also failed to mention what the Pats did to the Colts a few weeks ago, and the reason the Colts didn't lose. ( See the 4th and 2 call by the Pats.) Who knows if the Colts would have won if the Pats would have punted? I don't, but a win is a win right?
It almost seems like the national media is embarrased to say anything good about the Saints unless they blow out the Pats. Once we have a bad game like the one against the Skins they conveniently forgett to mention the factors. But then again, maybe it's just me.

How about Nicks?
I made it a point to keep an eye on him. He was impressive. Also, the false starts were against Jari Evans. Carl seemed to be opening the holes and not to mention his pass blocking was solid . I think that if he keeps having solid performances he may upseat Nesbit. Do you guys think we could see SP keep him in even after the return of Nesbit and what did ya'll think of his play?
