You know during half time I said to myself just lets the Dolphins pull this out their *sses. Let Henne make come comeback and let our defense crack down on the Jets. While the defense did get some unfair calls they didn't play to the best of their abilities. But I want to to talk about our offense.

The O-line looked great tonight. I didn't see that much pressure on Henne at all and the R&R express had it going. Now I feel like Matty. After the Jets last score I said well this is gonna be hard to swallow. Then as if an angel touched this team, Chad Henne starter converting 3rd downs. I said well the Jets will blitz and get all in his face. Now he has a nice completion to good ol number 83. On the Goaline with 10 seconds left and it's third down. We line up our power running game and in goes Ronnie. Did you see the look on Ryans face after that? I mean it looks like he dropped 30 pounds in his pants. Then he has the nerve to say their defense made us look good? How about our offense made you look bad. They undersestimated us last night and they payed. I am proud to see Chad Henne have a good game. I am not going to say he is our future but I will say this...He has what it takes to become something special. Now we have two weeks with this beautiful win under our belts. Enjoy and NO YOU ARE NEXT!.

Everyone Being So Positive..

Well a lot of people still think we will win the division this year. It is great to be optimistic but there comes a point when you can't get to far ahead of yourself. Now I want my team to win of course but it would not matter if we had the easiest schedule this year. Look at the way we have played the last two games.

In Atlanta we turned the ball over to much and our defense was forced to help us win but our offense couldn't get it going. Then last week we did so good on offense and the colts only had the ball for a total of one quarter and our defense couldn't even stop the offense. We had poor play on defense when it came to tackling and defending TE's. Now we are going up against Rivers and Gates. I believe we can put up a lot of points but the problem is we had a short week and have to travel out west. Our defense can not cover TE's and I am sure San Diego will expose this weakness. We are playing in a tough division and while every team will have more than two losses we are playing bad on one side of the ball or another. I want us to win and I do believe we can win some games this year but our defense has to step it up and I don't see that happening today. Another thing that is getting me is that all you fans that are saying we will win the division and all this are the ones getting upset and blaming CP10 and bad decisions. While I expected to have some better decisions last weeks loss came to the defense not being able to hold the Colts Offense at all. Teddy could have had that ball but remember he made a lot of clutch catches. We wouldn't be in that predicament if our defense can get one stop or two. I expected our team to be 9-7 this year but I thought we would beat Atlanta and the Colts. We still have a chance though and I haven't lost faith. But inless our defense steps it up we aren't going to win this game because we are not built to outscore teams. We control the clock and stop the other team from scoring. Neither Porter or Taylor have shown up much this year and we couldn't even stop Indy's running game Monday Night which is what we do. The Jets are for real even though I think the Titans will beat them and the Patriots will at least make it as a Wild Card team. Buffalo and their No Huddle offense is working and Trent Edwards is doing what he has to do. It is a tough division and predicting the Dolphins will win the division this early is being too optimistic.

Another thing is CP10 still gives us the best chance to win. I read that he is the last reason we did so good last year. My opinion is that if Chad Henne was in last year we would have had a considerable amount of turnovers compared to having CP10 in there. We won a lot of games because of not turning the ball over. If we lose today though I say we give Henne some real experience and start him. 0-3 is to hard for this team to overcome. We haven't lost one in our division yet and one was non conference so that is good, but if we don't win today then we might as well start giving the future some practice now. Just my take so everyone enjoy the game and lets hope our defense can step it up and we control the clock like last week. Enjoy and Phins all the way.

My Opinion On Week 2 Panthers vs Dolphins

Let me start by saying a couple of things. One is I pay 300 bucks for the NFL Ticket but it doesn't show pre-season games. I did get last nights game because I like in North Carolina but I am just mad I can't get preseason games for that price. Second off I am going to try and organize my write up a little better. Ok here we go.

I will start with offense and talk about what I saw.

- Our Qb's are looking better. CP10 was on mark and Bess should have had that ball. Looked to me like he dropped it because that corner was about to hit him. Chad Henne looked much better. He did stare the recievers down AGAIN but he did check it off. That one pass to Turner was well placed and would he have come up with the ball it would have been nice. Pat White didn't play long but his passes were inaccurarte.

- Ronnie Brown looked amazing. He looked so amazing that it reminded me of how I use him on Madded lol. But the offensive line opened a lot of holes last night which is nice to see. He is making me excited again. Ricky looked like Ricky and he still isn't smoking that good stuff which is a good sign. Now Cobbs looked good too but Hilliard was a beast last night. That big TD run was nice and he can shake tacklers on a consistent basis. I want to see him up against first team defenses.

- The Wr's were OK last night. Ted Ginn ran excellent routes but I am beginiing to believe that CP10 doesn't see him often. Bess looked good except that dropped pass. Turner looked great except in finding the first down marks. Don't forget Martin found that nice hole in the zone and caught a first down pass from Pennington. Say what you want about the back ups but Martin is still great at finding holes in the defense.

- Offensive Line was great. Jake Long manhandled Julius Peppers but got beat by a backup. Donald Thomas was great. Our whole first team line looked amazing in run blocking and pass blocking. I hope they continue to play like this because then we will have an outstanding year.

Keep up later in the week for defense which I think played great for the most part. Anyone else notice the bad calls by the refs last night? That one fumble recovery on the kickoff was ours but the refs couldn't see anything. That one nice return by the Panthers also had their defender holding our kicker. I could go on all day but they sucked. Period. Go PHINS!

My opinion on our Qb's

I am writing this to talk about what I have seen from our Qb's this last game. Now let me start by saying I want to see all three of our Qb's become superstars but to get there they have to learn. Lets us Begin.

Chad Penny didn't look special at all. But he proved himself last year so I am not worried about him. A few good passes against the first defense. Knew when to use timeouts when the defense came out in a formation he didn't like and all in all, he played smart and not to many Qb's smarter than this man.

Chad Henne. Everyone's favorite Qb. A lot of people want him to begin play this year. He isn't ready. That is the best way to say it. His one TD pass was to a wide open Wilford who did all the moves to get into the endzone. To be fair Ricky did drop a sure TD pass but a defender also dropped an INT too. He was also intercepted with a horrible throw. Now he did look poise in the pocket which is a good thing. Now onto something I hate a lot. He stares down his reciever bad. I can't remember one time, even though I may be wrong, he looked at a different reciever. He stayed locked on and if he does that against first team defenses he will be eaten alive. I think he has a lot of learning to do and if he can get another year under his belt I believe he will come out better.

Pat white did what I expected. Made some plays with his legs and threw the ball fairly well. He needs to learn to slide. He keeps trying to run into defeneders we won't have him much longer. His passes were decent even though he had at least three dropped passes by the recievers and one led to an INT. He needs to learn how to drop back better behind center. By the time he gets back his recievers are already making their cuts which is not good. I know that he isn't comfortable though so we give him time.

One last note. If by bad luck CP10 were to get hurt this year or we were doing bad and Chad Henne were to be thrown in I would be happy. This would give him a chance to play in a real game. I believe he needs real game experience to learn because remember that class where some people learn by listening and watching? Seems to me he will learn by doing. He has been learning for a year but when he got on that field he was still doing thing college QB's do. I want to see him this Saturday and see how well he does. I sure hope he fixes some mental mistakes and stops staring down one reciever. Will Pat White learn to drop back faster? Who knows but I can tell you on Saturday I will have my beer and be watching this game happy the Phins are back on TV. Enjoy!

Oh Boy Is This Going To Start Something..

First let me say that I am saying this only because I want too. I will probably read the comments later and see a bunch of arguing over it but I want to put my two cents in on it too. Why CP10 is better for now than Chad Henne.

First off I keep hearing that Chad Henne is not getting a chance to play with the first team. Think about this... If CP10 looks better with the first team than Chad Henne looks with the second team that says a lot right there. CP10 is proven and Henne is not. No he hasn't had a chance to prove himself but this staff will give him plenty of time in Preseason games. What I am saying is all this hype about Henne is understandable. We haven't had a franchise QB for a long time and CP10 is not the most entertaining QB but CP10 is proven. What he did for us last year was amazing and I believe that one more year for Henne will have him ready to step up.

But let me say this. If CP10 comes out this year and does real bad for a few games then I am all for throwing Henne in. This coaching staff says they are all for keeping the best on the field and if it comes down to it just throw Henne in. Just my opinion. Tommorow we get to see everyone in preseason and I can't wait!

Well I am making this post to ask everyone here a simple but important question. What kind of fan are you during a football game? Not if your at the game because everyone had better be screaming there or your not a true fan. But when you are at home and watching a game how do you act? Are you the screaming type or the passive type? Do you go from mad to happy quickly or just show a sign of disappointment? Take the poll and explain below! Pre-season starts up soon so lets see how our community folds out.

Now I am the kind that get excited and yells at the TV. I will cuss names and be happy with them if they do something right. Now after the game I will be calm and more thoughtful but during all that matters is we get that W baby. Here is the poll-

 <fieldset class="poll-box">
 <legend>Poll</legend>

I scream at everything that happens.

20 votes

I yell and get excited when big moments happen.

32 votes

I am neutral. I can be quiet but sometimes I really ret hyped up.

I am passive. I might yell or get excited every now and then but mostly not.

I never yell. I do get excited but a simple yes or no will do.

Over on Gang Green Nation, they had a post about who was better. They rated Cotchery much better and their the only blog that has the Jets not last. While he does have the stats on Ginn I still don't believe all in stats.

I just want everyone to voice your opinion. I don't hate on Ginn but I acually think he is going to have a great year. I still see us above the Jets in this department. In my opinion the Bills have better Depth at the WR position than the Patriots. Just trying to let everyone know that they are comparing Ginn and Cotchery.

I just want to break down the first game of the season a little bit. Yeah I know there is not to much I can do but I will see what I can come up with.

Now first things first. Was Matt Ryan really that good last year or was it just a fluke? He even said in an interview with Eisen on NFL Network that he wants to be consistent so he knows what it takes to be succesful. I know they have a great receiving corps to work with and if Ryan gets time he will pick apart the defense. But last year he made a lot or rookie mistakes and if he can't have them fixed this game I believe we can win this game. But if he does fix them and plays smart, we will have an exciting game.

Their defense doesn't worry me too much because I know Sparano will have them prepared well to go up against them. I think Brown will get into a groove and I think that we will use the Wildcat or Spread formation in the 2nd half and not the first. Just a random hunch I have. I believe we can do short throws and have an efficient running game against them. But it is too early to be looking ahead but Im just doing a prediction of what I believe. If we hold Ryan and his offense to making mistakes we can win this game. If their offense can't be stopped then we will end up with a shootout with the Falcons. I believe we win this game in their house with a defense that stops Ryan and an efficient day from Brown and CP10. Dolphins win 24-17.

On one last note it is going to be interesting have the Coach of the Year up against the 2nd running coach of the year. Mikey and Tony. This should be interesting.:-)

He pretty much took the words out my mouth. Thanks Matty for posting that as it was a unbiased and factual article. But I want to talk about the question Matty asked MaPatsFan on his website. How come the Dolphins/Patriots rivalry is so overlooked?

I believe it is because we weren't competitive and the Patriots has been one of the best teams in the leauge the last few years. But we always have great games with thim almost every year(except that horrible season where we couldn't even get two defenders to stop that pass to moss in the endzone....uhhhhh). But these games always provide great entertainment because the teams know each other very well. When they play I cuss more than I do in a whole years worth which shows how much I hate them. Always interesting games though and it be nice if the media could get their heads out Brady's ass and analyze something interesting because all they can talk about is the best and the worst.

On another note, I really am wondering how Rex Ryan's team will be this year. While he is a great Defensive man, It takes more than defense to win games. Everyone has to click to become a great team. I believe Ryan will cry when the Patriots beat them this year and Bellicheck makes him kiss his pinky rings lol. The Bills will be what they always are, either very good and competitive this year or will they just be the same old Bills??
