Representing the Miami Dolphins in enemy territory. I'm also a fan of the Vancouver Canucks and Atlanta Braves (as you can see if you look to the right) I've been to two Braves games down at Turner field. I got to see the Braves play the Nationals and then the Mets. A win and a loss respectively. By far I consider the Miami Dolphins to be my favorite sports team but the Braves and Canucks come close.
I don't have a favorite NBA team but I'm a huge Shaq fan so I support whatever team he plays for. So currently I'm stuck with the Cavs.
a fan of

A new home...

Well Colts fans, in all the irony it may include, I'm here asking you all for a new home. What? Yeah, I'm sure you all are confused as I am. As a football fan, I've wandered many SB Nation blogs talking football but there are two places that I've really been able to consider a "home" of sorts, in the blog world that is. Stampede Blue and Pats Pulpit. Are you more confused? You all should be. After angering some fellow Dolphins fans, I've come to the conclusion that I need to "move" some where else and surprise, I'm thinking here. I might also move to Pats Pulpit, but maybe you guys can have joint custody of me? Like the Patriots and Colts got divorced and I'm your love child, I don't know? Please :)
So I might need a few reasons to come here so I will provide.
- I'm a female and you all have plenty of awesome females here already, so why not one more?
- I love football. Not only am I a Dolphins fan, but I love all football and the NFL in general and love to be educated about it.
- Shake, Cass, TheAngelsColts, coltsfan723, Marked Hoosier and many others I'm forgetting to name, enjoy chatting with me (I think) in open threads and understand that I'm actually not a troll and don't mean half of my banter.
- Although I don't find Peyton Manning attractive, I can spell his name correctly and respect him as a player.
- Most of what I say is
semi-intelligent. - I've been banned from the Jets blog, the team you play next week and I've been warned twice on the Dolphins blog, how cool...right? Right!?!?
- I LOVE lolcats and animals in general.
- I hate the Titans. Does that help my cause?
- I find that you are all a fun bunch and enjoy being around here.
- And most importantly, I LOVE FOOTBALL!!! (Yes, I know I already mentioned that)
So I am asking, will you all have me? Any objections or is this an "I do!" in the making?

Can you guys give me one of these? Please :)

For the ladies....wait wrong one...

For the ladies? Ah, I gave it a shot.

DIB's Phinsider Competition Round One Scores and Answers
Well for the most part I was impressed on how you all did with my questioning, but it only gave me reason to make the next one harder. If you missed out on the first one, I promise you'll have a chance to play the second one and so on. I felt that giving more time for people to answer was only going to further enable cheating.

Little Nicky 21: 10/15
fansince70: 9/15
TheFinReaper: 14/15
MichaelIF20: 8/15
Note: If you gave more than one answer and one of them was wrong, I didn't count it as right. I know that decision will upset some people but it asked for one and that is why I counted it as wrong because it is not up to me to pick which one that was right, it was up to you. So for example, Nicky would have had two more right if he hadn't tried to go for more than one in 2 of the questions. If I screwed up anything in your scores, let me know in a comment and I'll fix it for you.
Winner(s):
TheFinReaper
AAH825
Both had 14/15 correct.
For the next one I will attempt to make it harder and different and essentially more cheat-proof. I'm sure some of you cheated, but the only one you fool is yourself.
To all of you, thank you for playing and make sure you play again. I leave you with this:
This is what I will be cheering for this weekend. Enjoy the Divisional Round Phinsiders!
Also, I would like feedback about the competition, such as categories, question formatting, if you liked it, anything you have to say about it, etc. Let me know!

DIB's Pats Pulpit Competition
I made this same quiz over at The Phinsider, but instead of asking you guys to go over there and answer my questions, I figured it would be fun to make it over here each time too. Because hey, I like you guys as much and if not more some of the time.
So my plan for this is to have this "competition" and announce the winner a few days after this post has been posted, in that post I will post up the answers and list the top performers. I ask for you all to not look up whatever questions are being asked, because it would be cheating and take away the glory of winning based on what you know. So get your football knowledge ready and let's get this thing started.
Topic: Super Bowl
Remember: DO NOT LOOK THINGS UP FOR THIS, BEING WRONG IS ACTUALLY OK.
There are 15 Questions....best of luck!
1) Although not winning MVP in this Super Bowl, this quarterback beat the Patriots to capture the Super Bowl in 1996. (Sorry about this question)
2) There are 4 NFL teams to win a Super Bowl and never lose a Super Bowl. Name one of them.
3) How many Super Bowl hosts have won a Super Bowl in their stadium?
4) In 2012, this team will host the Super Bowl.
5) This year generated the controversy of Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson and the "clothing malfunction."
6) This HOF quarterback won his first Super Bowl at age 37 and followed up the next year winning another.
7) There are 5 teams that have never played in a Super Bowl. Name one.
8) There are two NFL quarterbacks that have 4 Super Bowl rings. Name both.
9) This team has won 6 Super Bowls.
10) This team appeared in 4 Super Bowls in a row, losing all 4.
11) How many teams have been shut out in the Super Bowl?

13) This player was the MVP of the first Super Bowl.
14) Which player threw the most yards in Super Bowl.
15) This team turned the ball over a record amount of 9 times in a Super Bowl loss.
There were so many more interesting questions that I could have asked, but I actually wanted you guys to get these right. So I'll announce who won my competition in the following days. I will know if you cheated because I expect you guys to get some of these wrong. So good luck, sorry if you find this too hard.

DIB's Phinsider Competition
Okay, so I'm getting so fed up with bored with the fact that every fanpost over here is on the same thing, so I decided that in order to bring some fun to the Phinsider, I'd create a competition of sorts. I don't know how this will go over but I think that we should have some fun while having nothing else to talk about because our team is not in the playoffs. So my plan for this is to have this "competition" and announce the winner a few days after this post has been posted, in that post I will post off the answers and list the top performers. I ask for you all to not look up whatever questions are being asked, because it would be cheating and take away the glory of winning based on what you know. Just ask GGN: We are the most classless fans
Apparently Jets fans are unable to smell their own filth and think that smell is coming from Dolphins fans. Ironic they didn't include themselves in their own poll, maybe because it would have been a run away vote.
" if it is ignorant fans
then my vote hands down are the fins fans.
Well they are classless as well. For example I live down here in smelly fish country. And we have established a nice Jet Bar. Now I go to this Jet’s bar to stay away from the fins. I could easily go to one of the local bars and just pick on them, but no I stay away and hang with my people. So at this Jet bar there is one big projection tv with our beloved Jets on of course, and a bunch of other smaller tv’s. Most also showing the Jets with a few other games on for variety. It never fails but there are always a handful of fin fans there "to watch there game" Yeah surrounded by 100 Jet fans and watching their fin game on a small 17" tv with no sound. Invariably every year they will talk trash and when someone steps up to them, they call the cops like the wusses they are. Trying to get us kicked out.
Man I hate them. Thanks for letting me vent.

As expected, Manning is MVP
Personally I don't agree with the votes but I guess because I'm not just a journalist, you know one of fifty, my opinion doesn't count.
Jake Long out of Pro Bowl?
NFL.com reports that Jake Long will be missing the Pro Bowl and is being replaced by a Jet, of all people.
Patriots Tools to the (Playoff) Game: An outsider's view
I'll start off by saying that, I, do not know nearly as much about your team as you all do. But one thing I do know is football and I've seen ways to win games. This year I am cheering for the Patriots in the playoffs to beat the Ravens and the Colts or Jets, if they happen to face either. I sadly won't be cheering for the Pats against the Bengals nor the Chargers, as those are the AFC teams I really, really want to see make it to the Super Bowl. But let's not get ahead of ourselves because your Patriots are facing the Ravens this weekend.
I find that they are three key areas to the game if the Patriots want to win it, and I'm quite sure they do. There is also a smaller minor key area that I will get to after the other three are discussed.

Sound FX: Manning the bench
Peyton is wired up during the Bills game. A pretty good watch, and that is saying something if I think so.
The Case for MVP...
As you all know, or should know, the MVP of the NFL season comes out on January 10th. A lot of people will argue that this isn't much of a debate and that Manning will most likely win his 4th MVP honors. But I find that boring because in reality one could make the case that Manning deserves to win MVP every year, which would make the award nugatory. The Associated Press MVP award has existed since 1957 and that is the award most people are referring to when they are talking about the MVP award. In reality the award has no real value and is just something that is tacked on when achievements of a certain player are listed, but nonetheless the debate surrounding it always happens to be interesting. Now obviously no player for the Dolphins is "in the hunt" this year, unlike last year, so many may find this futile to even discuss but whatever I find it interesting so I'm sharing it will all of you.
The players that are most mentioned when this years MVP award is talked about are quarterbacks: Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers along with running back Chris Johnson. In the stat comparisons I researched, I left out Johnson because frankly it is almost impossible to compare 4 quarterbacks and one running back. Johnson's shots at winning MVP are almost impossible seeing how the Titans ended up missing the playoffs, yet had a very amazing turn-around nonetheless. Here is a chart I made/stole from NFL.com, I only included stats that were worthwhile in this debate because honestly who cares how many negative rushing yards Peyton Manning had.
Favre Manning Brees Rivers
Games 16 16 15 16
Pass Attempts 531 571 514 486
Pass Completions 363 393 363 317
Completion Percentage 68.4 68.8 70.6 65.2
Passing Yards 4,202 4,500 4,388 4,254
Yards Per Attempt 7.9 7.9 8.5 8.8
Touchdown Passes 33 33 34 28
Interceptions 7 16 11 9
Times Sacked 34 10 20 25
Passer Rating 107.2 99.9 109.6 104.4
Team Record 12-4 14-2 13-3 13-3
So as you can see by the stats, there are different ways to interpret how each quarterback did. Brett Favre uncharacteristically threw the least amount of interceptions this year for his career and this MVP debate, whereas Peyton Manning threw the most out of these 4 quarterbacks. Drew Brees and Philip Rivers had a very close amount of YPA, both over 8.5 while Manning and Favre each had 7.9. The amount of times Favre was sacked shows he played through a seemingly worse O-Line than the rest of the quarterbacks, while Peyton Manning was miraculously only sacked 10 times this season and enjoyed a very good O-Line. The Colts ended up having the best team record whereas the Vikings had the worse, in this debate that is. Brees lead the way with touchdown passes, while also rushing for 2 and Rivers had the least. The highest quareterback rating goes to Brees while Favre is right behind him and Rivers and Manning fall in after.
Now you all can read, I don't need to go through each and every aspect. You all are able to interpret this how ever you want and I'm sure most of you think Manning will/should win. But it isn't much fun just assuming he will win when the votes could be very different than we all think.
So there you all have it. Let me know who you think will win and include why you think so. I'm sure you all can guess who I want to win, but that is different than who might actually win. And remember the one that gets the ring may be a totally different story this year.

Pick Me...........No Pick Me...........No Me...................ME!
Ochocinco said he thought up a scoring celebration in which he'll put on a Bengals firefighter's helmet -- making like famed Jets fan Fireman Ed -- and sit on the goal post or one of his linemen's shoulders and get the fans to chant, "O-C-H-O, Ocho, Ocho, Ocho," instead of the familiar "J-E-T-S" cheer.
Congrats to the 2009 AFC East Champions...
[Editor's Note: dolphinsinbuffalo is not only a fine ambassador for his fellow Dolphins fans, but a great contributor to this site. I always enjoy the exchanges penned by DIB and consider him to be someone who blogs with the holy trinity in mind: knowledge, passion, and respect. Hats off!!]
[As promised in a pre-season bet with SlotMachinePlayer and BabeParilli, I have come over here to give my congratulatory post about the 2009 AFC East Champs]
This season has shown us many things, we have been able to learn so much about the NFL. We have seen the previous year's Super Bowl Champions crash and burn when they were supposed to defend their title, we have seen the agony of NFL teams and their kicker problems (congrats on not having that problem unlike the Redskins, Cowboys, and even the Saints), we have seen a team deal with the death of a coach's family member and a teammate, we have seen a team from 2008 that went 13-3 start 0-6, we have seen two teams go into week 14 undefeated, we also saw both those teams end up not undefeated, we have seen Brett Favre start off hot and have one of the best seasons of his life at 40, and we have seen a changing at the helm of the AFC East.
I never watched (well paid attention to) football my whole life until Super Bowl XLII. I bet on the game and my bet was easily accepted as I bet for the Giants to win, not knowing anything about the Patriots nor the Giants or anything that season. After that Super Bowl game I still went on not caring about football until the first week of my senior year in high school when I was sitting at lunch with a few of my male friends that were talking about football. All Bills fans except two, were talking about who was going to win the AFC East that year and I, out of nowhere, decided to say that the Dolphins would win the AFC East that year. How I knew the Dolphins were even in the AFC East was beyond me but little known to me, my guess would end up being right. From that day on, I became a devoted fan of the NFL and more importantly the Miami Dolphins, selecting them because of how poor they did in 2007. I wanted a team to believe in and that is exactly what I got. I forced myself to learn everything about the game and pay attention to everything Dolphins. My brother gave me a Dolphins hat and a friend of mine gave me a Dolphins sweatshirt and then for my birthday, my grandparents bought me a Chad Pennington jersey, I was all set. And that is where this story ends and another begins. My Dolphins won the AFC East that season in a miracle run filled with the wildcat, the re-birth of a quarterback, a favorable schedule, and a new regime. But that was last year.
This year the Patriots got their future HOF quarterback back and beginning with their first game they became a storyline in themselves. After narrowly edging off the Buffalo Bills 25-24 in an intense game, the New England Patriots went into the next week expecting to beat the seemingly hot New York Jets, but were stopped 16-9. After seeming shaky at times and hot at even more times, the Patriots gave me my game of the season on October 18th. Beating the Tennessee Titans 59-0 was a huge highlight of my season. After knocking off all of their AFC East rivals and a rival from the AFC South, the Patriots fell to the Dolphins by one point. But after that, the Patriots kept on knocking and eventually won the AFC East with the destruction of the Jaguars.
So here we are, the New England Patriots dominated the AFC East in the 2000s and finished the decade with another division title under their belts. So the moral of the story, go out there and buy that grey hat and get pumped up to see your team play when so many others are left waiting until next year. If the Dolphins would have won the AFC East, you bet I'd be getting that grey hat, so do me a favor and buy yourself one. So congrats on the season and good luck in the playoffs!
P.S. The shirts for playoffs this season are pretty cool so maybe you want one of those, too :)
P.S.S. Although I don't care for the Patriots, I enjoy all of you and am thankful for being welcomed over here.

Greatest Stories this year...
I haven't made a post in quite some time and while I'm sitting here watching a NFL video about last year it has got me thinking about some of the biggest changes and storylines of this season. So instead of writing a final paper for my poetry class, I decided to make this post.
The Bengals:
Before the season began, if someone tried to claim that the Bengals were going to win their division this year, would you believe them? I wouldn't have and I'm sure most of you wouldn't have either. We are talking about a team that went 4-11-1 last season and one of the laughing stocks of the league. That team is now 9-4 and AFC North Division Champions bound. This team has completely swept it's whole entire division, obviously including the 2008 Super Bowl Champions. If anyone saw this coming they have an uncanny ability to predict the future and I would like them to let me know how my life is going to play out.
The Titans:
Basically the exact opposite of the Bengals, the Titans finished off last season 13-3 and while basically only losing their D-Coordinator and D-Lineman Albert Haynesworth, they fell and crashed to begin this season with a pathetic 0-6 start. This team was a sure shot to win the Super Bowl last year, but after being beat by the Ravens in the playoffs last year, it only got worse this year. Outscored by the Patriots 59-0 was almost laughable. But the Titans found some magic and won 5 strait after their bye week. Starting QB Vince Young found some magic and Chris Johnson got real hot, real quick. The Titans were looking to win out and be the first team ever to make the playoffs after starting 0-6, but were stopped by the Colts two weeks ago. If anyone saw the Titans season playing out like this, refer to what I said above by the Bengals.
Two Undefeated Teams at 14 weeks into the Season:
I wouldn't consider this as much of a surprise as much as it is annoying. It is annoying in the respect that the '72 Dolphins record isn't just threatened by one team, it is threatened by two. Are the Colts good? Yes. Are the Saints good? Yes. Is it even more depressing that the Dolphins could have potentially stopped both of these teams? Very much so. Before the season began I didn't see this coming but we all should have expected the Colts to be hot, and the Saints, lead by Drew Brees, should have been expected to be hot, too. Just not this hot, it's almost unbelievable to see the league like this.
Okay, you should have all expected this to be in here as I'm a huge Favre fan. But let's all get real, did anyone expect him to only have 6 interceptions this year when last year he had 22. Do I need to say that again? 22 interceptions last season. Many can argue that he is doing so well this year because of Adrian Peterson, the Defense, the lack of strength in the Vikings schedule, blah, blah, blah, etc. I don't think that those reasons alone make him this good this year, I think he is just that hungry for a Super Bowl. 22 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 3,341 yards, 106.0 quarterback rating...amazing, MVP-like, all that. He is great this year, no doubt about it.
Steelers downfall:
If losing to Cleveland last week doesn't say it all, I don't know what does. I mean when your team loses to Cleveland, cry, cry a lot. The Steelers shouldn't be 6-7, I don't even know what to say about that. They are looking to miss the playoffs after winning their 6th Super Bowl last season. Blame it on the Troy Polamalu injury, blame it on whatever, but I can't say I saw this coming and I'm sure a lot of people didn't. This team has lost 5 games in a row, and that isn't the Super Bowl hangover, that's something else. Big Ben getting sacked 8 times in that Cleveland game, what? Yeah, I know, someone help the Steelers...or don't.
The Lions, Rams, other bad teams:
Wait, nevermind there is no storyline there. They still suck.
The awful kickers this year, and I mean awful:
Above, not bad.
Every time I go to NFL.com's homepage I see more headlines about how awful the kickers are in this league. A new headline about what team is cutting what kicker has become an everyday thing. Some of the misses this year are frankly pathetic. I mean, I could make some of these missed kicks. A missed 23 yarder that would have had the Redskins beat the Saints? Yeah, what the hell? The Cowboys kicker has missed field goals in 5 strait games. The Ravens cut their kicker during the season. I guess not every team gets to have a kicker with a booming leg like Stephen Gostkowski or a sure shot, for the most part, like Dan Carpenter (90% made), or Ryan Longwell (96% made).
I'm sure there are more storylines that I am forgetting or just not mentioning, but I have wings to eat so this is all I have for now. I would like to hear any that I have forgot and everyone's opinions on my storylines.
Enjoy.

O-line Confidential: Dolphins
I've been waiting for nfl.com to do our team for this segment. I've enjoyed it for all the other teams they've done so far and this is no exception. I'm probably one of the few who actually stalks nfl.com's videos but I just love the NFL. So go sit down for some O-line confidential. Maybe our O-line dissing on the Jets will do it for you....just check it out and see for yourself.
Playoff Status'
A pretty cool website where you can mess around and look at the probability of the Dolphins making the playoffs based on different scenarios. I suggest trying it out to see what you find.
Porter's House
Peezy talking the Pats game, the upcoming Jags game and more.
NFL Weekly Countdown Number 5 Miami still in the hunt
another nfl.com video that I found good enough to share.
Stadium Upgrades?
According to Goodell, Landshark Stadium needs to have significant upgrades in order to stay competitive to host Super Bowl's in the future.

Joey talking concussions, the Pats, and all the usual. CHECK IT OUT
My First Dolphins Game Ever...with some pictures
I didn't think I'd have to come make this post on here after a loss but this game was just one of the many disappointments that I should have at least thought could happen. I have to say up until the game actually started being played, I was having fun but it happened to go downhill from there. But on to my game day story...
We arrive at the stadium and I decided to get decked out in Dolphins things because I expected my clothing to do my talking for me, but as you all know it didn't pay out to be like that. I wore my authentic Ronnie Brown jersey, a Dolphins sweatshirt, my Dolphins jacket, Dolphins gloves, a Dolphins hat, and even Dolphins socks. We get out of the truck and I was happy to see there were plenty of Dolphins fans there, but not enough of course. I didn't hear any insults until we got right up to where we needed to be to enter the stadium. We were supposed to go tailgate with some family friends but we chose not to in-order to go take pictures of the players warming up.
We decided to just go on down to the corner of where the end zone section and the field sections met, aka 117, and see if we could see some players. When we got out there a few players were just stretching and of course our punter, long snapper, and kicker were already out there doing our thing. We we lucky enough to be on the visitor side so we got a pretty good view of our players and it was pretty much all Dolphins fans over where we were except like 4 Bills fans. Ricky Williams happened to be one of those non-dressed players out there warming up and gave us all a smile as he walked by.
Then I continued to just take pictures of Dan Carpenter kicking field goals and I got a few pictures of Rian Lindell and Brian Moorman, too. Then our team started coming out a few groups at a time. First our wide receivers and special teams players, then the corners and safeties, then the quarterbacks, the running backs, then the o-line, and so forth. The corner backs and safeties started warming up right in front of we were, so that was pretty cool. This annoying like 7 year old boy, a Bills fan, kept naming the last name on their jerseys and saying they sucked so each time he did that all of us Dolphins fans yelled and clapped for them. Then I'm pretty sure Stephen Ross walked by with his posse, but I could be wrong.
Then it was time for the o-line to warm up in front of where we were and then my hate for some Bills fans strongly developed. It was annoying enough that the father of the 7 year old let him run his mouth, but it got even worse when he started running his mouth. Vernon Carey was standing there and the guy was like, "you going to Burger King after this, fatass?" and obviously no one in the o-line cared about what some stupid Bills fans had to say but then they continued to call those guys fat and I'm standing there thinking to myself, "those guys are like monsters compared to you, if you were standing in front of them you'd piss your pants." But I kept my mouth shut for that time. So then the o-line left and then the whole team stretched together and then my story gets real good.
So Channing Crowder happens to wander over near our area and the idiot Bills fan kept yelling things at him and Channing didn't say anything. So then he was like, "Nice Tramp-Stamp Channing" and Channing looked over and laughed and appeared to mouth, "yeah I know." As he was walking away he pulls his pads up more and his jersey and shows his back and shakes it. Then continues to walk away but the Bills fan was like, "Did your boyfriend put that there?" and Channing did one of the funniest things I've ever seen, he stuck one of his hands down his pants and pulled it out with his middle finger up and every single person in our section burst out laughing and cheered him on. I almost lost it, it was the coolest thing I've ever seen a professional athlete do in real life.
So basically after that Jason Taylor threw a ball our way then we went to our seats.
I'll upload the pictures if someone explains how and then I'll include our bad experience with the Bills fans that way this story isn't all in one part. This post would have been less boring and made more sense with the pictures but I'm too pissed to sit here an attempt to load them on here. Although too bad you guys aren't my facebook friends, and never will be or else you'd already be able to see them.
Oh and p.s. to all....I love the nose bleeds...best view ever.
There was over 100 so this is just some of them.

Part 1 of my game story over at The Phinsider
don't know if you guys will like it but when I get my pictures up, there are some good ones of T.O., Moorman, and Lindell.
"How I think the rest of the season will play out"/ "Playoff Picture"
On every single other SB Nation blog, I come across the dumbest assumptions of what will happen the rest of the season. I keep finding that everyone thinks the Dolphins will end up 7-9, which frankly is an insult and plain ignorant. So I'm going to make a post about what I would think was going to happen if I was an ignorant bandwagon fan of the Dolphins, who only knows about the Dolphins...because everyone else seems to do the same thing regarding their team, cough...Colts....cough. And I'm only doing it for the AFC because it is dumb enough I have to do this to begin with.
AFC East: Miami: Why? Because I only know of my team in the NFL and don't realize that it is probably close to impossible for my team to win it at this point. Final record: 11-5
AFC South: Jacksonville: I see them winning out but losing one game to the Dolphins while the Colts completely lose out. Final record: 11-5
AFC North: Baltimore: They are probably going to win out all but one game (Miami) while the rest of the teams in their division lose out with the exception of the Bengals. Final Record: 10-6
AFC West: Kansas City: Yeah, the Chiefs...why? Because every other team in their division is going to lose out while Kansas City makes the playoffs with a miraculous 9-7 record.
Wildcard: Indianapolis...10-6
Wildcard: Cincinnati...9-7
Playoffs:
Jacksonville 1st Round Bye
Miami 1st Round Bye
Wildcard Weekend:
Baltimore v. Indianapolis.......Ray Lewis sacks Peyton Manning a record amount of times totaling 9. Adam Vinatieri misses every single field goal and blames Peyton Manning for his 6 INT game and calls him "Mr. Not-so-laser rocket-arm" . Peyton Manning gives deja vu interview while saying "...we're talking about our idiot kicker who got liquored up and ran his mouth off" : Winner: Baltimore 59-0
Kansas City v. Cincinnati........Carson Palmer tears his ACL and MCL as if it was 2005 all over again. Matt Cassel some how pulls out the win while only throwing for 100 yards and two touchdowns, while he finds the Vince Young in himself and rushes for 200 yards. Gives press conference and calls Tom Brady a bitch. Winner: Kansas City. 14-0
AFC Divisional Round
Jacksonville v.Kansas City......MOJO rushes for 250 yards and kneels at the one yard line each time he gets there, telling the people that have him in fantasy football to, "kiss his ass." The Jags score 4 field goals but fail to actually get a touchdown the whole entire game. Matt Cassel again mocks Tom Brady and asks him how it feels to be sitting at home with his illegitimate children. Winner: Kansas City 24-12
Miami v. Baltimore.....Chad Henne throws for 500 yards and 6 touchdowns while giving the Dolphins revenge for the loss to the Ravens last year. Ricky Williams runs for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jason Taylor picks off Joe Flacco 4 times while Sean Smith and Vontae Davis each add a pick-6. Final Score? Miami 70-0
AFC Championship
Kansas City v. Miami....The Dolphins decide to bench Henne in order to rest him for the Super Bowl they know they are making it to. Pat White plays the whole entire game while throwing 5 touchdowns and rushing for 3. Matt Cassel is sacked by Joey Porter who happens to tear his ACL and MCL, Porter asks Cassel how it feels to actually be Tom Brady. Cassel revels that he has also knocked up some models in his spare time. The Chiefs kicker, Mr. Irrelevant Ryan Succop, sucks it up and misses 4 field goals. Ricky Williams rushes for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Dolphins are called the Patriots of 2007 without a Super Bowl loss in their future. Winner: Miami 84-0
The Dolphins go on to win the Super Bowl beating whatever team you fill in the blank with: ___________ ___________.
The End.
Just remember all, this was a joke to mock how some people just don't get it. I understand that half of what I said is either completely improbable or impossible but who cares...GO DOLPHINS.

Tranquil Trio
A great story about Brandon Fields, John Denney, and Dan Carpenter as the "Tranquil Trio"
Early but...
I thought I'd come over here and wish you all and your families a happy Thanksgiving this year. I'm sure you all have a lot to be thankful for in life but this is a football blog so I'm going to run through what I'm thankful in football this year.
- I'm thankful that my team has been able to start 0-3 and turn it around to 5-5.
- I'm thankful for the great football games we've all seen this year, all the upsets and teams that no
- I'm thankful for Ricky Williams and his ability to make up for the absence of Ronnie Brown.
- I'm thankful for being able to see my first football game this weekend at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
- I'm thankful for Chad Henne and his stepping up although we lost a great guy and quarterback, Chad Pennington.
- I'm thankful Brett Favre came back this year because although he is indecisive, he is really playing some darn good football. Only 3 interceptions? Hard to believe but me might just be on the way to
- I will be thankful if no NFL team goes undefeated in the regular season, I'm talking to you Saints and Colts!
- I'm thankful that the Miami Dolphins will still be able to play the Pats again this year, although not at the time I'd like.
- I'm thankful the Jets drafted Mark Sanchez and hired Rex Ryan, sweep anyone?
- I'm thankful for the injuries we haven't had, although we've had too many as is.
- Lastly but not least, I'm thankful for SB Nation and the blogs I like to call home.
Thank you Pats Pulpit and I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, plenty to be thankful for, great food, and safe travels.
