Hornets May Make Collison Available
The Hornets are back in luxury tax territory heading into the 2010-11 season and Marc Stein of ESPN.com writes that they will likely be active on the trade market.
Rival teams will try to convince New Orleans to trade Chris Paul, but it's much more likely that they'll part with promising backup point guard Darren Collison.
Stein writes that the Hornets will likely ask any team interested in Collison to also take one of their cap-clogging contracts -- Emeka Okafor, James Posey or Peja Stojakovic.

Ed Davis Compares Big Ben's Retirement Decision To Favre
During Thursday's NBA Draft Combine interview session, Ed Davis was asked about his relationship with Ben Wallace.
Wallace went to VCU, the same school Ed's father Terry Davis attended.
"Ben is like family to me," said Davis. "He's been like an uncle."
Davis was asked if he might be able to share any insight into whether Wallace will retire or continue his NBA career in 10-11.
"I didn't think he'd come back this year, so maybe it's like a Brett Favre thing. You never know."
2010 ESPN Mock Draft
Detroit
Ed Davis
Position: PF
Height: 6-10
Weight: 215
Age: 20
College: North Carolina
Analysis: The Pistons are high on Al-Farouq Aminu, but the last thing they need is another tweener after adding Austin Daye and Charlie Villanueva last summer. Davis didn't dominate as a sophomore, but he's an athletic big man who's active on the boards. The Pistons desperately need a player like that.
