Can you imagine if the Caps and Penguins are both eliminated in the first round. What will the NHL media do then without Ovechkin and Crosby to cover??  Will this give the Devils more media attention?? The Devils will have 3 of the biggest superstars left to cover Parise,Kovalchuk,and Brodeur.. I would love to see this happen and see if we can get some NBC coverage. What do you think Devils fans?? This could possibly happen.

Is it just me or does Marty need to sit down?  He was sent to the bench during the olympics and team Canada rebounded and won the gold. We can blame the Devils defense all we want but there was a different defense in front of him in the olympics same result. Yann Danis is sitting on the bench rotting with a goals against of under 2. Every time I listen to other analysts on the Nhl Network and commentators on versus or nhl.com they all say Marty is the reason for the losses. Now as Devil fans we all love Marty and respect his past accomplishments but the bottom line is he cannot seem to play a game without letting up at least 3 goals a game lately. If he does that in the playoffs its one and out. Why not sit him down a couple of games and let the backup play a while to see if he can do better? That may show Marty that he is not guaranteed the starting position and that may lift his game. We have 19 games left to right the ship a lower playoff seed will really not hurt all that much. What do you honestly think? ANSWER HOW YOU TRULY FEEL not what we do not want to admit..

Well the moment I have been dreading looks like it will happen Sunday. The U.S.A hockey team plays Canada Sunday and Martin Brodeur will be the goalie for team Canada. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hardplace. Who do you root for if you root for team U.S.A .you are rooting against our goaltender. Its a tough call for a Devil fan. What is your feelings about this??
