Cardinals expected to release S Antrel Rolle
		The Cardinals are expected to release FS Antrel Rolle this week. The sides have been negotiating a contract extension, but cutting Rolle will allow the Cards to avoid paying his impending $4.1 million roster bonus. hate to be a downer on christmas but is anyone here getting worried about playing the giants this offseason? it actaully would not take much for the eagles to play NY in the first round, and if they did it seems to be a trend that no team in the nfl beats another three times in a season. Though there are some notable exceptions (i believe the steelers one of their superbowl years) it is always worrysome. If the eagles dont lock up a first round bye id be rooting for them to lose to dallas in week 17, if only to set up a big win for the playoffs. im also worried that if the eagles win week 17 and face teh cowboys again in the next round theyd lose. anyone else worried about any of this stuff? on the brighter side i think minnesota would get creamed by the eagles for reasons i cannot explain.

the eagles had back to back 4th quarter comebacks? i love donovan mcnabb, have to admit i was ready for him to go after the benching last year but now i couldnt support him more fully. his stats weren't great today but he had a much better game then his numbers. he had virtually no "dirtballs", and his only real mistake was the overthrow on a play that didnt matter. for anyone who says mcnabb, or this eagles team has no heart, you really havent been watching the games. i really feel like some eagles fans love bitching about the team more than celebrating its success. Today was one of the most exciting eagles games of the past couple of years but i know some of you are stuck with the bad taste of the 3rd quarter in your mouths, rather than the victory. Lets look at the bright side: this may not be the best eagles team ever, but the giants are sinking fast and the cowboys are just waiting for that cold weather choke. try rooting for your team for once instead of dreading defeat.

just kidding come on guys. these forums have become full of negative nancys. sure the offense wasnt great tonight but the defense looked good. There's no need to overanalyze the game or call out any players. we all love the eagles, i have a possibly homosexual crush on desean jackson, we got to injure a few redskins AND  andy reid didnt even waste any early timeouts tonight ! In a piece of news that im sure won't trouble anyone rapper 50 cent used his newest single "flight 187" to create "controversy" i say this lightly becasue since his recording career has been pretty much terrible for years, he's made a song basically trying as hard as he can to be controversial" however, among these outdated britney spears jokes is an interesting verse. nope not the line earlier in the line about how his baby mama has herpes "i guess him and ron mexico ARE pretty close" but the following " i spoke to michael vick told him that im happy that he's home/ you tell him crack a sorry nigga then you get back on/ when dogs are fighitin in the hood nobody give a fuck/ so you get back and shake it on the field show them whats up. whats most troubling about this that mike vicks associating with a known felon (nope) his terrible taste in rappers (seriously wasnt kanye west available? maybe vick si still listening to the same music that was popular when he went to jail because 50 cent sucks. perhaps the most troubling thing is how "50" implores him to get back on the field and "shake it". uh oh maybe thats how 50's baby momma got the herpes, ronny mexico needs to tone it down.

on a serious note though does vick need the perception that he just "cracked a sorry then got back on" vick needs to stop associating with douchebags, or at least update his record collection.

Miller's agent, Andy Miller, is pushing for a sign-and-trade to New York in response to the Sixers' lack of interest in bringing the 33-year-old point guard back. The Sixers have expressed a willingness to offer no more than a one-year deal at the $5.9 million mid-level exception. But a person with knowledge of the situation said Philadelphia was lukewarm about even that proposal. The Sixers are apparently asking for more than Duhon, a solid point guard who will make $6 million in the final year of his contract. That could mean the Sixers want a draft pick, too. The most the Knicks could offer Miller, who made $10 million last season, without a sign-and-trade would be the mid-level exception of $5.85 million. In a sign-and-trade for Duhon, they could give Miller as much as $7.6 million (125 percent of Duhon's salary, plus $100,000). Miller and agent Andy Miller were asking for three years and $30 million. ive gone to the draft the past two years, for the first two times in my life. I'm a huge eagles fan, and camped out for hours waiting to get in. as you well know, the eags have traded out of the first round both these years, leaving me feeling that the trips werent worth it, as my buddies (non eagle fans) all left both years before i got to see the eagles pick. Other than a eagles hat and the experience to meet brady quinn (kind of a tool), it really wasnt worth going at all. This year i thought itd be a sure thing, with the eagles having two picks, but given the fact that the eagles traded one of them away what are the odds that andy and co ship out the pick again for late round value ? I like knowshon but i cant really see the eags taking a rb so early, and the tackle position seemed the other only pressing need to be filled. What do you guys think the chances are that the eags trade out again. if so i dont think itd be worth going to the draft, and camping out for 24 hours to watch the lions take some more recievers.

I realize that I havent won a championship but seriously..do you really miss Ty detmer and bobby Hoying? what about doug pederson, how many titles did he win? ok just checking. i mean at least koy detmer has that magnificent throatbeard going for him, but its not like philly would be a contender without me.  sure our recieving corp now is good, perhaps the best overall corp phillys had in a while, and a trade for boldin would hurt the future of the team. but is this really a team meant for the future? sure the defense is young but me and westbrook are getting up there. i appreciate some of your supports but the rest of you get off my back.
