Former Survivor star Jenna Morasca done with TNA

Main Event Mafia valet Jenna Morasca is no longer with TNA Wrestling as her contract was not renewed, according to Dave Meltzer. The former Survivor star, who parlayed her nude appearance on the CBS reality series into a pictorial in Playboy magazine in 2003, was inexplicably signed to a short-term deal with the wrestling organization earlier this year in what one can only assume was a feeble attempt at bringing "star power" to TNA programming. Despite only lasting a few months with the company, Jenna provided fans with a memory they will never forget: a pay-per-view match with Booker T's wife Sharmell which is not only the clear front-runner for worst match of 2009 but may very well be the worst match in TNA history. That match...after the jump. (Be forwarned though, while the clip is essentially safe for work, Jenna's highly suggestive (though not really at all sexy) stripper entrance might raise a few eyebrows if your boss is looking over your shoulder.)
Rey Mysterio suspended from WWE for Wellness violation

Current WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio has been suspended for 30 days for violating the company's Wellness program according to wwe.com. The suspension goes into effect this Wednesday, September 2nd, conveniently the day after Tuesday's Smackdown tapings, so look for Rey to drop the title on next week's episode.
This is Rey's first Wellness violation, though in 2007 Sports Illustrated alleged that Mysterio had received prescriptions for the steroids nandrolone and stanozolol from Arizona doctor David Wilbirt.
This suspension takes Mysterio out of September's Breaking Point pay-per-view, in which he was scheduled to defend his title against Dolph Ziggler, as well as October's Hell In A Cell PPV.

Cody Rhodes offers advice on shaving "down there"

WWE fans are aware that the company has abandoned its raunchy image in the last couple of years, toning down its product in order to be more family-friendly. However, apparently nobody told this to Legacy member (and son of the American Dream) Cody Rhodes. A series of videos on WWE.com show Rhodes giving advice on how to properly use the Gillette Fusion razor on their head and chest. Pretty standard stuff for guys, right? Well, the site also features a video of Cody advising the fans on how to use the razor "below the belt." This is all a little weird for wrestling, but at least it's comforting to know that Cody Rhodes keeps it clean under his trunks. Or wait, maybe it's not.

WWE considering launching cable network
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Vince McMahon is looking to start a WWE-themed cable network which would launch in the next two years. McMahon says despite his plans for the new channel, Raw would remain on USA and other programming would remain on their respective networks.
The article also includes the humorous claim that WWE's 14 yearly pay-per-view events receive between 500,000 and 1.4 million purchases, which, as any regular reader of Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter can tell you, is rarely the case.

Jobber versus Nobody (or, Raw dark match and Superstars
results)

If you're reading this, you're probably curious about the result of the dark match between Alex Riley and Jamie Noble before Monday's Raw taping. OK, maybe you aren't. But you probably are curious as to who the hell Alex Riley even is. Well, he's...that guy. In the picture above. Can't really say much more. He's working a high school football player gimmick, which is appropriate since a large percentage of wrestlers high school jocks who need an excuse to keep juicing themselves up after their collegiate athletic days are done. But when he debuts on ECW in a few weeks (that's no guarantee, but all the new guys start on ECW, right?) he'll no doubt become an internet favorite, so you might as well start liking him now.
Anyway, between this obscure young upstart and his opponent, Jamie Noble, who doesn't exactly have Randy Orton's win-loss record himself, one would question if it were possible for both men to lose the match! Fortunately for one of these men, that was not the case. But who would emerge the victor? In the pre-internet days, we'd have to wait for weeks for the news to arrive by carrier pigeon. But thanks to F4WOnline.com contributor Brian Mapes, the results are available just hours after the event took place. Plus, the winner Santino vs Chris Masters for this week's Superstars, after the jump!
Smackdown Spoilers for 7/31

The tapings for this Friday's edition of Smackdown finished just a few short hours ago in Baltimore, with a main event of new World Champion Jeff Hardy defending against John Morrison. Does Morrison earn the right to use the Big Gold Belt as a crotchshield? Who wins the bout between Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty, and who will win next weeks bout between them and the one after that? Can Charlie Haas fell the mighty Great Khali? Find out after the jump.
Jim Ross Chronicles Part I: Kissing Vince's Butt
WWE announcer Jim Ross has always had something of an interesting relationship with his boss, Vince McMahon. Over the course of more than 15 years of employment, JR has been the clear-cut best play-by-play man in wrestling, signed many of WWE's top stars in his former role as head of talent relations, and been a faithful lieutenant to Mr. McMahon all the while. In response, McMahon has fired Ross twice, removed him from television a couple of more times, and booked him in a wide variety of humiliating situations on national television. The most memorable such moment may have occured in November of 2001 when McMahon, perhaps more emboldened by his storyline vanquishing of WCW than his actual purchase of the organization earlier that year, began booking his employees to literally kiss his ass live on The New The National Network. Following the hilarious sight of snooty Englishman William Regal placing his lips on McMahon's backside, Vince attempted to force his top nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin, join the nascent "Kiss My Ass Club." Unfortunately, for his troubles, Vince had his ass whipped by Stone Cold's belt.
After seeing JR respond to this butt-striking incident with the fakest laugh this side of the audience at a Mad About You taping, Vince, Kurt Angle and a beanie-wearing Undertaker (spouting such tough-guy phrases as "Vince, drop your pants" and "Pucker up, bitch") forced Ross to join the club in place of his BFF Austin. Vince, wearing what appeared to be either a prosthetic ass or a pair of flesh-colored briefs, placed JR's trademark cowboy hat atop his head as Ross's lips touched his fictitious rear end. McMahon then danced around the ring to the sounds of Limp Bizkit in celebration of one of the most homoerotic segments in wrestling history.
Sadly for Ross, the butt-related humor at his expense was not over. Join us next time as Ross is nearly replaced by a man with zero experience in the wrestling business, hit in the balls by a 57-year-old woman, then had his colon surgery mocked on TV, all in the span of about two weeks.
Batista wears a speedo

When WWE announced its wellness policy in November 2005, some fans feared that the era of Herculean physiques on the company's Entertainers was over. Thankfully, due to the miracles of modern nutrition and bodybuilding supplements, the recently injured Dave Batista is able to sport his steroid-free body in a Speedo on the beaches of Miami without fear of mockery from onlookers.
