All protected picks have different obligations. Most teams will eventually unprotect picks to incentivize them or they turn into 2nd rounders.

Kanter is actually pretty good. He has fantastic footwork, he's recently bulked up and will definitely find minutes now with Jazz most likely going to release Jefferson and/or Millsap.
