Zach Lowe at SI catches Kevin Love at the beach after his tournament loss and tries to get him to admit he wants Adelman as the coach. Also asks Kevin to fix the defense problem for the Wolves. And the mohawk is gone.

Canis Hoopus Who to watch in the tourney: open thread

This job should have fallen on someone with knowledge about this year's draft-bound college players, but here I am. Because I haven't watched one game this year outside of the Pac10, I'd be interested in having a one-stop location to guide my tournament viewing. I'm sure I could figure out when the big stars are playing, but this will give CH regulars a chance to pimp their less-heralded college favorites. Or, since all the best draft decisions are made based on tournament play, it gives an opportunity to post your new BBall crushes as they happen. Sure, it might be nice to have an updated Hoopus Score to reference, but what do you want for nothing?

So, what games will you be watching, and why?

Canis Hoopus Are we missing Jefferson, or have we already replaced him?

The thought process that led me to the following analysis, was my pondering the impact of Al Jefferson's absence, and the effect that the absence of a go-to guy had on the team. It is obvious that in the absence of a high usage scorer, Love has attempted to take on this role, with seemingly horrific results. But despite the huge drop in scoring efficiency that has accompanied Kevin Love's attempts to be a shot creator, the is plenty of evidence that he has succeeded in replicating what Jefferson's production really was, although not what the residual perception of Jefferson as a go to guy might be.

Just the type of support system that the team should be proactively initiating, or signs that they are becoming worried about his ability to integrate?
