Florida or Texas?
The question is whether Texas or Florida is more deserving to go to the MNC. Forget about winning divisions or conferences, ties for divisions, tie breakers, BCS, SEC, Big 12, what conference each team is in, etc.
'Head to head' which is the better team and based on their record is more deserving to go to the MNC? Which is the second best team in the country? Top two go to the MNC regardless of conferences.
Florida -
Best win: Alabama, ranked #1 then, ranked #~6 now (tomorrow, after the loss)
Loss: Unranked Ole Miss at home
2nd best win: #16 Georgia
3rd best win: #24 Florida State
Texas -
Best win: Oklahoma ranked #1 then, ranked #2 now
Loss: #7 Tech away on last second play
2nd best win: #14 Oklahoma State
3rd best win: #20 Missouri
If one looks at these results and on the filed performance honestly, Texas should be going to the MNC instead of Florida.
AP Poll: UT by 8 pts over OU
It's a virtual tie.
Note: I edited the title of this FanShot from an earlier incorrect title, as stated in the comments.
Empty seats for Bedlam game?
OSU may not have so much of a home field advantage this weekend. Cheap seats may be available for anyone willing to travel and cheer for the Cowboys (Orange Aggies).

Texas - Texas Tech in the MNC
Another path to Miami:
After we beat OU, fans asked if we could see them again in the MNC, and yes we could. Why not TT instead?
TT wins out and goes without question.
Penn State needs to lose one, and Bama and Florida each need to lose one. Florida needs to lose before the SEC championship and then beat Bama in the SEC championship.
The number should crunch and the stars will align, and we will have a rematch in Miami.
Edited for spelling mistakes.
