Curry's facebook?
Found this randomly, lists Monta as a favorite athlete and someone who inspires him and links to Monta's ,Reggie's and Lin's personal pages.
Monta lied when he says he has no facebook....
Off topic thread : 2k12, music, etc.
Everything right now for the Warriors is looking rather gloomy, so I just wanted to open a thread for a little joy. Nothing more, just talk about whatever is happening since the Bay Area sports lately has been depressing. I'll start off with a few things
What are your current top 10 songs/ artists you listen to? What type of music do you like ?
My list:
1. Soundtrack 2 my life / Kid Cudi
2. Mojo so Dope / Kid Cudi
3. Radicals / Tyler the Creator
4. Transylvania / Tyler the creator
5. Teleport 2 me / Kid Cudi
6. Runaway / Kanye West
7. Dark Fantasy / Kanye West
8. Trapped in my mind / Kid Cudi
9. EARL / Earl sweatshirt
10. Perfect is the Word / Kid Cudi
Also I am really looking forward to WZRD and Wolf, Kid Cudi and Tyler the Creator's new albums

2k12 Associations anyone? What trades have you guys done?
I just did a set of deals at the deadline:
- Curry, Klay, Udoh, Kwame for Bynum, Kapono, Murphy, Harris
- Biedrins, Murphy, 2nd rounder for Hollins, Gee
- Lee, Kapono for Jrich, QRich, Duhon
My current lineup
PG: Monta, Nate, Jenkins, Duhon
SG: JRich, Rush, Harris
SF: Wright, QRich, Gee, McGuire
PF: Tyler, Barron
C: Bynum, Hollins
Small ball FTW
I plan on going for Wallace though and dealing Wright and something for a PF
Now I have 30 mil in cap space in free agency and have Bynum. If we did this in real life, I'd cry in joy
What are your gamertags / PSN account names? I play CoD , Battlefield, Madden, 2k12, Assassins Creed (!) and Batman mainly.
Monta Ellis not worried about his points
Also: Monta Ellis paid a surprise visit Thursday to "KJ," an Oakland teen who was shot last month, he got shot 10 times and was paralyzed in a case of mistaken identity
Key to Sixers Success , compare this to us
Read this, is this not how we should have done it?
Not W's related but this is awesome
Warriors still stand by Udoh over Monroe
That is just how I read it, I feel like the Samhan workout is just an excuse for a reason to not pick him
Question about the lottery pick
If we finished say 12th overall (random slot) and do not finish inside the top 7 yet through the lottery we end up say 3rd in the draft do we get our pick or does Utah get it cause we finished outside the top 7?
David Lee for Boris Diaw?
Would you guys do this? To be perfectly honest Lee does not fit well here in Golden State seeing as though we don't play to his strength's offensively and he's really not a help on defense. Clearing his contract would help us tremendously in the future. You guys lack consistent scoring and have the defense to make up for Lee, I think Bismack Biyombo will be awesome down the road and is the perfect player next to David Lee. And while I think we'd only offer this if we continue to be disappointing around the deadline I think it should be looked at for both sides. He'd be your first legit scoring big ever as well.
I can answer any Lee questions or any other Warrior question you want me to.
JR Smith and Wilson Chandler
When do they come back? We should take a good look at them, their extra scoring would be huge and if we got Chandler we'd be able to have Wright come off the bench . We really need 1 more guy who can score at least at a decent pace.
Kwame Brown... (Help out a confused Warrior fan)
Give it to me straight ROF , is Kwame Brown any good? Can he at least provide 15 minutes per game? How was he last year? Did he seem motivated?
I can actually justify that type of money, if he was going to get around 3.5 mil on a mult year deal getting a big to sign a 1 year deal would nearly double that amount just so the player would accept a 1 year deal since there is no guarnteed future after that. But still we should have done better in my opinion with that 7 mil . It is just for 1 year though so its just to take up the required amount of cap space teams must spend din the new CBA . But really , how much did my Warriors screw ourselves? Give me your best Kwame scouting report
Lakers Believed To Be Paul's New Favorite Landing Spot , but....
A source confirmed that talks between the Warriors and Hornets slowed down on Wednesday. While the Warriors can't offer as good of a chance to win as the Lakers and Clippers, Paul is said to have a lot of respect for new head coach Mark Jackson.
Bill Simmons on trade
The Trade: Chris Paul for Stephen Curry, Ekpe Udoh and Klay Thompson.Additional Notes: For Paul to agree, Golden State would have to use its amnesty on Andris Biedrins and sign Tyson Chandler for whatever it takes. That's a ton of money, but Golden State's new owners (Joe Lacob and Peter Guber) are your classic "I just bought an NBA team! I want to win now! Why can't we win now???? Let's win now!" guys. I know our pal Marc Stein reported this afternoon that the Warriors are hesitating to include Curry in any Paul deal, but couldn't that just be posturing? I think those owners would make all of the aforementioned moves (and spend the additional millions it took) without blinking. When I spent time with Lacob last March at the Sloan Conference, I was stunned by how adamantly he wanted to win right away — part of it was admirable, part of it made me think, Oh, man, all bets are off for this guy from a Dumb Trade/DumbContract standpoint. The good news here: Turning Curry, Udoh, Thompson and $27 million of dead Biedrins money into the league's best point guard and the second-best player on last year's NBA champion isn't dumb. The Verdict: This trade actually works AND makes sense. New Orleans flips Paul into three cheap pieces, saves $8 million, rebuilds around Curry and still has about $21 million to spend on free agents. Let's say the Hornets re-signed David West and used their extra cap space on a rebounder (say, Kris Humphries) and a one-year bid on an amnesty guy (say, Baron Davis). That's a pretty fascinating team, right? Curry, West, Okafor, Humphries, Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Jarret Jack, Udoh and Baron Davis??? Meanwhile, Golden State ends up with a nucleus of Paul, Chandler, David Lee and either Monta Ellis or whomever they get in a deal for Monta Ellis. (Andre Iguodala? Rudy Gay?) As Jack Horner's editor would say, that's a real team, Jack.My Final Prediction: Chris Paul to Golden State for Curry, Udoh and Thompson, followed by Golden State using its amnesty on Biedrins and signing Chandler. Welcome to relevancy, Warriors fans. You deserve it.

Tyson Chandler is the top name for both the Golden State Warriors and the New Jersey Nets...

Warriors would make a deal without a contract guarantee from Paul.

Interesting trade idea (not a reliable source, but still interesting)
Golden State in: Chris Paul
New Orleans in: Rajon Rondo
Boston in: Stephen Curry Andris Biedrins
Yeah I know it's from a forum but I like this idea
CP3 in the playoffs, he nearly beat LA by himself

Is Palmer actually better then Campbell? Doesn't really matter since Palmer is our guy now for a while
Remaining free agent targets to fill needs
This is not talking about who to retain and who not to, I think we HAVE to keep Zach Miller, Michael Bush and Michael Huff (less so with Huff)considering how little deph we have at each of those positions. But this is about the other spots we need and in what order we should pursue them
1. Dashon Goldson - Regardless of us losing Huff or not Goldson is a good target for us, he is very solid all the way around. He will never blow the doors off of you but he will get his job done. If we got him and kept Huff we could maybe move Huff to CB so we can try and mend the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha.
2. Kevin Burnett - If we are looking to upgrade at OLB he is a solid fit, he can pass rush and stop the run very well. He got 96 tackles last season and San Diego hasn't expressed much interest in keeping him
via www.sportsbusinessdaily.com
3. Carlos Rogers - A guy flying under the radar but a solid young CB none the less, he shouldn't be too expensive and he is productive. We have to find a CB to help sure up the outside. Chris Johnson may get cut and Stanford Routt definitely is a question mark rather he can guard the best WR's in the NFL.
4. Richard Marshall - One of the few bright spots for Carolina last year, he is a very good tackler at CB and is decent in coverage. It is highly likely he leaves Carolina as well. Again, another player to help try and fill our CB need.
5. Quincy Black - Another potential upgrade at OLB for us, he is a really tough player and is good in coverage. He is not a big time run stopper but is solid none the less. He also provides special teams help
via www.nationalsportsagency.net
6. Donte Whitner - I think he should only be a target if we lose Huff, he is rather versatile but does not truly excel in coverage. He is a really good tackler though and can help sure up the run defense.
7. Nate Clements - He is past his prime and getting older but if all else fails why not sign him and try and get some sort of veteran leadership in the secondary?
DO want
Please?
Dear Nene, please decide to come here like Lee did even though we don't have the money so we can do a sign and trade for you involving Biedrins?
Pretty please?
