http://www.sbnation.com/users/dunnateher Posts made by dunnateher on SB Nation http://www.redreporter.com/2008/5/26/536258/my-biased-view dunnateher Mon, 26 May 2008 13:55:05 -0000 <p>We are suckin.&nbsp; I don't wish to give up on the year but it's getting harder to believe the reds will turn it around.&nbsp; The point I see as key is Jr. vs, Dunn.&nbsp; I will never bash KGJ because he is a sure HOF and a great ball player ( in the era of cheaters ) that played the game by the rules.&nbsp; I know he is done as a great run producer and has no real trade value other than sentimentality.&nbsp; Adam far from Dunn on the other hand is peak age of production.&nbsp; I hear the rants&nbsp;&nbsp; too many k's,&nbsp; low average, clubhouse misfit, and for what it is worth&nbsp; non clutch.&nbsp; This is&nbsp;my take on the situation.</p> <p>Trade BA:&nbsp; several teams need a quality #3 inning eater.</p> <p>Trade Stormy and/or JB: as all teams need mediocre bullpen help.</p> <p>Call up the present future Bruce and Homer.</p> <p>With this fair trade value, the reds should be able to secure the RH bat and leadoff player that is lacking.&nbsp; I presume that everyone knew the reds were at least 1 year away if not 2 before the season started.&nbsp; The&nbsp;core is there to be special and that is what all reds fans want.&nbsp; Dunn needs to be signed for at least 2 years.&nbsp; I also would like to see some of the younger arms brought up to learn big league lessons (Maloney, Thompson, Jukrich and maybe Herreraa) for the next generation. If&nbsp;I am totally off base please help me see the way to a pennant for our beloved.&nbsp;</p>
