New Logo in the Works?

According to an article on sfgate.com, the Warriors are considering adopting a new logo that would incorporate the image of the new bay bridge span that is currently being built.  What do you guys think? Sounds like a cool improvement over the current logo to me. I was never a big fan of the thunderbolt, and with OKC "stealing our thunder," seems like the time is ripe for a change.

The Golden State Warriors basketball team, often maligned for not identifying its hometown of Oakland in its name, is considering a new uniform design that would incorporate a sketch of the span, much like the classic "The City" uniforms with an image of the Golden Gate Bridge that the team sported as the San Francisco Warriors.

The Marion Movement!

Alright, the Shaq-Marion trade got me thinking. I think Marion would be a perfect player for Nellieball. He can run, pass, shoot, rebound- all the qualities that Nelson seems to utilize/reward in big men. I think he's exactly the kind of player who could make the Dubs a championship contender. He would be a great answer for the other big men that we will likely face in the playoffs (Boozer, Nowitzki, Gasol, Shaq, etc). Only problem has been that there was no way the Suns would entertain trading intra-division. Now that he is in Miami it's another story. I posted a trade idea in the "Shaq to the Suns" diary but it was kinda buried and didn't generate any discussion so here it is:

Trade 1: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=308~3019~3021~2173~510&teams=14~14~14~ 14~9&te=&cash

Al, Pietrus, POB, and Perovic for Marion

or:

Trade 2: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=308~3019~2173~3242~510&teams=14~14~14~ 14~9&te&cash

Al, Pietrus, POB, and Wright for Marion

or:

Trade 3: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2751~308~3019~2173~510&teams=14~14~14~ 14~9&te&cash=

Al, Pietrus, POB, and Monta for Marion

To flesh out our depleted roster, and save Miami some more cash, we could use the TPE on Jason Williams.

We get the final piece to the puzzle, Miami saves some dough and acquires some promising young players.
Miami needs to stock up on young talent and try to assemble a new team around Wade. We need a reliable big man that Nellie trusts. Miami has previously expressed interest in Pietrus, but didn't have tradeable assets that we were interested in. Al is grumbling about his role here and as much as I appreciate the energy that Al brings, he is under-utilized in our system and would probably be happier and more productive elsewhere.

Trade 1 seems like a steal for us. We upgrade from Al to Marion and don't lose any key pieces. But Miami frees up some cash for next year and gets to evaluate POB, Pietrus, and Perovic.

Trade 2 is perhaps a bit more realistic. We give up a dependable day-to-day forward (Al) and a potential future star (Wright).

Trade 3 is harder to swallow. Obviously Monta is a great asset and it would be hard to see him go, but Marion is one of the few players out there that I would have to consider dealing him for. Also, having Marion on the books for next year would likely make it  hard for us to re-sign both Monta and Biedrins. If we had to let one of them go, I would have to go with Monta.

What do you guys think? Do these packages make sense? Should Mullie get on the phone and try to bring Marion to the bay?
