McNabb; not a redskin in 2011
Lets get this deal done NOW
If Matt Leinart
After todays big win against the Denver Broncos, I was just wondering that if it hadn't been for Leinart being released, would we still had gotten Skelton at the draft? Heres the picture (before Skelton arrived)
QBs (as of 2009)
1. Kurt Warner
2. Matt Leinart
3. St. Pierre
2010 - Offseason
1. Matt Leinart
3. St. Pierre (im not sure when he got released)
2010 Season Opening
1. Derek Anderson
2. Max Hall
3. John Skelton
2010 Season Week 14
1. John Skelton
You can say we had had a very inconsistent season as a whole, but he showed hes worth the wait to be the QB we want him to be for upcoming seasons. Do you still think the Cardinals must select a high draft pick on QB?
Madden Simulation
According to the "EA Sports Simulation" on ESPN, the Chargers should keep their hopes alive for the playoffs in a close game versus the Chiefs

Carson Palmer to the Bills?
So I was watching the NFL Network and they were talking about the Cincinnati vs Tampa Bay game from yesterday (great game by the way) and I went on to Google to look up for Carson Palmer´s stats, because I wanted to know how long hes been and his stats as QB. The guy is no rookie and has Chad Ochocino and Terrell Owens as wide receivers, both Pro Bowl caliber and he doesn't seem to get it right, hes been inconsistent throwing so many interceptions. So according to Wikipedia he was traded to the Bills? Anyone know anything about that?

Game ritual
When the Cardinals are about to play on a beautiful sunday afternoon, what is it that you buy to eat or drink? I always go with some chips and occasionally few beers, but sometimes the main reason I go with chips, its because I wake up 30 minutes before the game starts (the game starts at 11AM here) and couldnt find something to cook or go buy. But now its different because the game starts at 3PM, so what is it that you do?

Struggling with the cards
So in Madden I always go with the cards (obviously) and it seems like its getting harder and harder to win games by this point, for example I just lost to the Seahawks :( and nothing ever seems to work my way. I picked Madden like a year ago and never had a problem winning, I mean in Madden 10 I could always get away with mine, I did many comebacks from 10 points deficit or something, sometimes it felt like a cheat was put on (I know its not the same) but I just wanted to know if anyone is struggling like me. It seems like since Warner retired, the whole birds became the Bills, and just to prove a point I played with the Browns against Miami and won 27 - 22, (the browns are like 70 ovr and the dolphins are averaged like 78 I think) it feels kind of sad because i just love this team :D
Madden Update
So when is Madden 11 updating its rosters, players injuries, drafted players, etc. Because I am currently playing with the Cardinals and when I look at the depth chart on the QB list, Max Hall is not even in there, Matt Leinart is still appearing as the starter and Derek Anderson still is a 2nd string, so just wondering, when do these actions take effect on Madden? Have a great kickoff by the way! GO CARDINALS
Sports Science on Larry Fitzgerald
Lets take our minds out of the whole QB situation for a while and well, probably a few have seen this, but for those who haven't, check it out. Its nice to know we have one the best receivers in the game despite the silly doubts on Matt and all of that, just keep holding on to what you know its true and be patient. Anyways click here and see how science takes on Larry
Jamarcus Russell
I read somehwere in a ESPN article that Jamarcus Russell was training with few teams; Jets, Vikings (not sure) and the Cardinals as he wanted to go for the 2nd string QB position. The Jets showed interest in him for a few days, but recently they announced they werent signing him and that was about the last thing I heard about this situation, until now that he was arrested for possesion of something about the purple drink. The No.1 pick didn`t had that many power recievers anyway or a solid running game, and I guess Raiders needed to get rid of him from all the pressure and fame the team had been going through (heck I even saw a video where supposed Raiders "fans" were burning Russell`s jersey), also Al Davis is old and should retire hes insane (as bad insane, old insane). According to this article (from ESPN) throwing coach, who also coaches Tom Brady once a month, said Russell had much potential and still had what it takes to be a real franchise quarterback. What do you think? NOTE: In the end, this is my opinion. dont take it the wrong way :)
Why would Anthony Calvillo (CFL) could make an impact on the NFL
So I guess this is my first post since I ever registered on the blog, so hello fellow birdies.. (I have like 3 months now, I think). Now maybe some of you already know, but the CFL has already started and what a great way to start, if you couldn't catch with the highlights of the opening game, here you go: CFL Opening Game (sick I know). And it got to my attention, what would a fine CFL QB (such as Anthony Calvillo) will have to do to enter a big and strong league like the NFL? There has been few players who made it big and made a name out of themselves coming from the CFL to the NFL (Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, Mervyn Fernandez) and I understand that these two leagues I'm talking about are different in such aspect like, rules, field, fans, coaches, whatever, you name it.. but still I have always thought of Calvillo having a successful carrer in the NFL, so lets look at specifically one player because I'm lazy to do lots of research.
Warren Moon
Coming out of the University of Washington, Moon had a successful season, having numbers like 125 comp 222 att 12 TDs 9 INT and being named the MVP of the Rose Bowl in that year (1978). Despite these great numbers Moon went undrafted from the NFL because back then, the NFL did not signed black quarterbacks and he refused to change position which led him to the CFL. Moon played from 1978 to 1983 for the Edmonton Eskinos before finally being drafted to the Houston Oilers in 1984, he left the CFL having won 5 Grey Cup championship (which is like the Superbowl) and was named 2 times MVP GC. Now, Im not a big fan of numbers but I think we need to look at these stats, he left for the NFL having these numbers back in the CFL
